The Watch

Since 1867, Bayard has been crafting exquisite timepieces defined by their originality, quality, and timeless elegance. True to French watchmaking tradition, this TX26 pocket watch commands attention with the gleaming gold-tone of its case. Crafted in brass, it boasts a round shape measuring 45 mm in diameter and 14.30 mm thick. A mineral crystal sits atop the case, offering a clear view of the dial. The crown, positioned at 12 o'clock on a three-ring stem and surrounded by an oval ring, is ridged and gold-toned - allowing you to set the hours and minutes with ease.

The Dial

The round dial of this watch exudes an appealing retro aesthetic, meticulously executed. It features a matte white base set off by highly legible Roman numeral hour markers in a deep black that contrasts beautifully with the golden case tone. These surround a minute railroad track filled with black squares. The center of the dial features a skeleton finish offering a pleasing view of the movement's architecture, and houses two black Breguet-style hands along with a slender black seconds hand. Finally, the brand name is placed just below 12 o'clock as a signature.

The Movement

This model is powered by a high-quality mechanical movement boasting 17 jewels and a 36-hour power reserve. It beats at 21,600 vibrations per hour, equivalent to a frequency of 3 Hz.

The Chain

This watch comes with a matching gold-tone Curb Chain. It attaches to the case via a carabiner clasp, while the other end features a hook that lets you easily clip it to your belt.

Water Resistance

Fair warning: this watch is no athlete and definitely not a water lover. Moisture is the worst enemy of its delicate mechanism, and our team strongly advises keeping it dry. Fine for a rain shower or doing the dishes - but skip the bath, the shower, the pool, and any ocean adventures. This one prefers to stay high and dry.
