Founded in 1881, Davosa is a family-owned manufacture that has championed authentic Swiss craftsmanship for generations - creating watches that balance quality, technical excellence, and personality. Built to push your underwater limits, the Ternos Medium 166.195.40 offers a water resistance of 20 atmospheres, or 200 meters. Its classic sport-elegant design makes it an essential accessory. The 36.5 mm diameter, 11.8 mm thick barrel-shaped case sits confidently on both men's and women's wrists, its brushed grey finish in 316 L stainless steel as durable as it is refined. The unidirectional blue ceramic bezel's visual countdown gives you added peace of mind during your deepest dives, surrounding a dial in the same shade. That dial is shielded by a solid sapphire crystal and houses three SuperLuminova luminescent hands at its center. The same luminescent treatment covers the round, rectangular, and triangular hour markers. At three o'clock, the index gives way to a magnified date window. A discreet minute track runs along the dial edge for precise timekeeping. On the right side of the case, the screw-down crown - protected by the case flank - provides access to time setting. The screw-down case back seals everything in for optimal water resistance at 20 ATM.
Bathed in an intense blue reminiscent of the ocean's depths, this watch dial features the timeless round shape. For a clear analog display even in the darkest conditions, the three central hands - hours, minutes, and seconds - are coated with SuperLuminova luminescent treatment. The hour markers, also luminescent, are mostly circular. Only the 6 o'clock and 9 o'clock markers are rectangular, while the noon marker takes the form of a downward-pointing triangle. The hands sweep across a grey minute track running along the dial perimeter. For an extra time reference, a magnifying date window at 3 o'clock keeps today's date in plain sight. Finally, the Maison signs its creation just below noon, adding details about the collection, water resistance, automatic movement, and Swiss origin at 6 o'clock.
Tucked inside the case, a self-winding movement drives the three hands and date window to deliver hours, minutes, seconds, and date functions. The Swiss Sellita SW200 caliber is widely recognized for its high precision and dependability.
This timepiece is dressed in a silver 316 L stainless steel bracelet that gives it its distinctive character. The brushed finish on its three rows of links lends a sporty-chic style. Its deployant clasp ensures a secure, comfortable fit every day. The lug width measures 18 millimeters.
With a water resistance of 20 atmospheres - equivalent to 200 meters, this model earns the "dive watch" title without hesitation. Our watchmaking experts agree: it handles showers, baths, lap swimming, freediving, and recreational scuba with ease. That said, this watch is not designed for extreme deep-sea diving, where pressure would eventually overcome its seals. For professional divers tackling serious depth challenges, we recommend models rated at 30 ATM or above. We also advise against operating the pushers or crown while submerged, to maintain a perfect seal at all times.
