The Watch

Since its founding in 1926 in Grenchen, Nivada Grenchen has been crafting stunning vintage-inspired timepieces. Committed to honoring original designs while harnessing the latest technology, the brand delivers outstanding performance. Today, it presents this Super Antarctic 3.6.9 watch with a 316L stainless steel case measuring 38 mm in diameter and 12 mm in thickness, with a lug-to-lug distance of 45 mm. Its surface features a sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating, offering robust protection against shocks and ensuring optimal legibility. This watch also features a distinctive screw-down case back centered with a gold-colored medallion bearing an applied illustration - making it ready for aquatic adventures. Finally, the crown at three o'clock allows easy adjustment of the three central hands.

The Dial

The watch showcases a radiant dial that dresses your wrist with quiet distinction. Beautifully finished in a matte black colorway with an eye-catching vintage treatment, it is accented by aged pink and gray tone time indicators. Aside from the slender seconds hand, all indicators are coated with a Super-LumiNova treatment for legibility even in the darkest environments. Among these, you'll find two large dauphine-style hands. These sweep across the minute track around the dial perimeter, alongside baton indices and Arabic numerals - carefully designed to help you read the time at a glance. Finally, notice the brand's signature beneath the 12 o'clock index, represented by an inverted triangle.

The Movement

The movement powering this timepiece is a mechanical type with a lever and automatic winding. It comes from the Soprod manufacture, featuring the PO24 caliber. Engineered to drive your hands with fluid precision and reliable accuracy, it boasts a power reserve of 38 hours and a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4Hz).

The Strap

The first strap is made from black textured leather. Its captivating aesthetic makes an impression at first glance - featuring a striking perforated structure that charmingly hugs your wrist and complements any outfit. You'll enjoy its softness and comfort, secured by a removable tang buckle.

The second features 5 rows of polished stainless steel links. Adding an elegant touch to the watch, it pairs beautifully with a smart-casual look. It fastens with a deployant clasp that's effortless to operate.

Water Resistance

With 100-meter water resistance - or 10 ATM in watchmaking parlance - this boldly styled timepiece is equally at home at a gala and in the water. Feel free to wear it in the shower, the bath, or during a swim (even a vigorous one!). That said, our watchmaking experts want to make one thing clear: this model is not designed for scuba diving, free diving, or use with high-pressure washers. Remember: shower, bath, and swimming only - and never operate the push buttons or crown while submerged!
