Blending heritage charm with cutting-edge technology, Auricoste launched its Type 26 Aéronavale watch in 2019, inspired by the aviation instruments that equipped Caravelle aircraft in the 1960s. Today, we present it in its Steel version - a model that is sure to impress. Crafted from 316L stainless steel with a brushed finish, it's designed to turn heads on the wrist. Built for men's wrists, it measures 40 mm in diameter and 12.85 mm in thickness - proportions engineered for comfortable, all-day wear. The dial is protected by a flat sapphire crystal, offering optimal resistance to shocks and scratches. It is framed by a unidirectional bezel with a notched edge and a black sapphire insert, combining utility with elegance. The bezel is graduated in Arabic numeral minute markings, including a double zero at 12 o'clock, allowing you to track elapsed time with ease. A notched crown, protected at 4 o'clock and engraved with the brand logo, adds an authentic touch while making hand-setting effortless. Finally, the watch features a engraved screw-down caseback, contributing to a water resistance of 30 ATM.

The Dial

This round dial with its deep black color and matte finish gives this timepiece a touch of timeless elegance while delivering a clean, fluid analog display. It features two black hands of the "Plongeur" type to help you read the hours and minutes, accompanied by a slender seconds hand distinguished by its round counterweight and aircraft-shaped tip. The perimeter is marked by a minute track rendered in white lines, divided every 5 minutes by batons. Serving as hour markers, these are paired with Arabic numeral indices for quicker reading. All indices and hands are coated with a luminescent treatment in white, emitting a green glow in the dark - ensuring a clear time read in both bright and low-light conditions. Finally, Auricoste places its name beneath 12 o'clock with the phrase "Horloger de la Marine", and notes on the opposite side the watch name with "Swiss Made" just below.

The Movement

This watch is powered by the SW200 caliber, a high-quality automatic movement Swiss-made by the renowned brand Sellita. Featuring 25 jewels and a stop-seconds function, this movement is widely recognized for its efficiency and performance in all conditions. It incorporates an Etachron regulator with a regulator corrector, beats at 4 Hz - or 28,800 vibrations per hour - and delivers a 41-hour power reserve. Hours, minutes, and seconds are displayed with precision and reliability throughout the day.

The Strap

This stunning watch is delivered in a unique, water-resistant case bearing the Auricoste signature, complete with two distinguished straps. With a lug width of 20 mm, they let you switch up your look whenever the mood strikes.

The first strap offered, of the Tropic type, is crafted from black FKM. Easy to pair with any outfit, it's the timeless, sporty addition that elevates every look. Its carbon-effect texture and small perforations make it comfortable, versatile, and modern. This strap comes equipped with a 316L stainless steel pin buckle for easy, secure wear.

The additional Parachute strap lets you slip your watch on with ease during all your adventures while keeping a refined sporty look. Crafted in nylon, it features a striking black color contrasted by a central stripe in light green. It wraps your wrist with elegant precision, ensuring all-day comfort. It comes fitted with a hook and two keeper loops in 316L stainless steel, making it easy to adjust and secure for any occasion.

Water Resistance

This model offers water resistance to 30 atmospheres, or 300 meters.
