Auricoste has been recognized as the official watchmaker of the French Navy since 1854, meeting the demanding specifications set by the Ministry of Defense. The result: precise, reliable timepieces with a refined, understated elegance that suits any occasion. The 316L stainless steel case measures 42mm in diameter and 13.30mm thick. The use of 316L steel offers numerous advantages, including hypoallergenic properties, exceptional durability, and resistance to deformation. A scratch-resistant sapphire crystal protects the dial, while the screw-down caseback ensures optimal water resistance. A screw-down crown at 4 o'clock further enhances water resistance and adds a distinctive signature touch.

The Dial
Round in shape, the dial features a black finish (Super Mat Black treatment) that makes every time-reading element stand out clearly. Three hands indicate hours, minutes, and seconds: the hour hand is white, the minute hand is yellow and arrow-shaped, and the seconds hand is yellow and white. Arabic numeral and baton indexes mark the hours, alternating between the two styles for a more dynamic look. Both the hands and indexes are treated with SuperLuminova Blue Line BG W9 for excellent legibility in the dark. In a distinctive touch, the date window sits at 4 o'clock at an oblique angle. At 6 o'clock, you'll find model-specific details, while the brand name appears at 12 o'clock.

The Movement
At the heart of the case beats a Swiss automatic movement - a 25-jewel caliber 2824-2 delivering a 38-hour power reserve and an oscillation frequency of 28,800 vph. Functions include hours, minutes, seconds, and date.

The Strap
The case is fitted on a gray stainless steel bracelet. The gift set also includes a NATO strap and a black rubber strap. The stainless steel bracelet features a single deployment clasp, while the NATO and rubber straps close with a traditional buckle. All three straps are perfectly suited for diving. The lug width is 20mm.

Water Resistance
With a water resistance of 30 atmospheres - equivalent to 300 meters - all that's left for our watch specialists to do is wish you a great aquatic adventure.
