This model takes its name from the Sombrero Galaxy, considered the most beautiful place in the universe. Designed for men's wrists, its case is crafted from brushed and polished 316L stainless steel, giving it lasting durability and a striking appearance. Brushed and polished, it features a round shape measuring 38 mm in diameter, 45.50 mm in length, and 12.45 mm in thickness. It is fitted with a domed sapphire crystal that shields the dial from accidental impacts. This crystal features an anti-reflective coating for clear, glare-free readability and an anti-fingerprint coating that repels water- and oil-based dirt. At 2 and 4 o'clock, two screwed-down grey crowns are set for adjusting the central elements. Each features grooves for an easy grip. Finally, this watch is equipped with a screwed-down, engraved case back ensuring water resistance of 20 ATM.

The Dial

This black dial brings an original design that gives this timepiece a striking look. It is crafted in brass with a linen-textured finish that creates a distinctive woven appearance. It features an internal bidirectional bezel in aluminum with luminescent markers forming a minute scale. This ring is black and surrounds the minute track as well as the baton indices and Arabic numeral hour indices. At the center, three brushed stainless steel hands provide smooth and accurate timekeeping. The slender seconds hand tracks elapsed seconds, the long hand marks the minutes, and the short hand displays the hours. All three are coated with a SuperLuminova old radium treatment, also applied to the hour markers and bezel indicators, ensuring clear readability in low-light conditions. Near 6 o'clock, the "Japan Made" label is noted alongside the collection name, water resistance, and magnetic resistance. Finally, this dial is signed with the brand name at 12 o'clock.

The Movement

Beating at the heart of this watch is a Japanese-made automatic movement. More specifically, it is the Miyota 9039 caliber, which drives the hands with a precision of -20 to +40 seconds per day. This mechanism is vibration-resistant and magnetic field-resistant. It oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 beats per hour and features a stop-seconds device. It is fitted with 24 jewels to reduce friction and offers a power reserve of 41 hours.

This model comes with two straps with a length ranging from 150 to 210 mm and a lug width of 20 mm.

Water Resistance

This model offers a water resistance of 20 atmospheres, or 200 meters - making it a true diver's companion. Built for freediving, it handles everything from high-pressure washers to deep-water plunges without breaking a sweat. Showers, baths, lap swimming, and freediving are all fair game. For scuba diving with tanks, however, our experts recommend a timepiece with a higher water resistance rating. Also, avoid operating the crown or pushers while submerged to preserve the movement's integrity.
