The Watch
A unisex watch from Slow Watches - original in concept, understated in design. It runs on a Swiss Ronda 505.24H GMT quartz movement with 1 jewel. The watch displays hours and minutes, with hours shown in 24-hour format and minutes indicated in quarter-hour increments. The octagonal case is crafted in 316L stainless steel. The crystal is a hardened K1 mineral glass (for enhanced scratch resistance) with anti-reflective coating for easy time reading. The case back is press-fit.
The Dial
Round in shape and cream in color, the single hand on this dial is anthracite. It indicates both the hours and the minutes in quarter-hour increments. Black indexes and a minute track are also present.
The Strap
The watch comes with a vintage-inspired beige leather strap and a silver-tone pin buckle. Water resistance has been tested and rated at 10 ATM (100 meters). It's perfect for swimming but is not suitable for scuba diving.
The Movement
This watch is powered by a Swiss Ronda 505.24H GMT quartz movement. This 1-jewel caliber displays hours and minutes, with a theoretical battery life of 45 months. Rather than using the movement's traditional complications (4 hands including a GMT hand, with a date window), Slow Watches chose to leverage this caliber for a 24-hour display - adding an extra layer of originality to the watch. A fun touch that perfectly captures the brand's playful, offbeat spirit.
