Seiko expands its lineup with the all-new Seiko 5 GMT. This sports watch is built for everyday life, featuring a screw-down caseback for 10 ATM water resistance - and its transparent caseback lets you admire the movement inside. The round grey stainless steel case sports a polished and brushed finish, measuring 42.5 mm in diameter and 13.6 mm thick. A black grooved rotating bezel tops the case, marked with orange Arabic numeral indicators. A Hardlex crystal with a magnifying lens over the date window protects the dial. A grooved, screw-down crown at 4 o'clock gives you full control over your watch's functions.
The dial is a bold statement piece. A vibrant orange dial sets off your 11 geometric indices, each treated with Lumibrite luminescent coating for low-light legibility. Two broad white luminescent hands make reading the time effortless, while a seconds hand and a fourth black GMT hand let you track a second time zone with precision. A railway track with Arabic numeral markers adds accurate minute reading, and a date window at 3 o'clock provides an extra reference. Seiko 5 signs the dial at 12 o'clock.
This automatic movement delivers a power reserve of 41 hours, kept alive by the simple motion of your wrist. A Japanese Seiko caliber 4R34 movement powers your jewelry, with 24 jewels generating 21,600 vph.
This watch is secured to your wrist by a grey stainless steel bracelet with a brushed and polished finish. The elegant jubilee-style bracelet pairs with a secure push-button deployant clasp for confident, all-day wear.
This watch is water resistant to 10 atmospheres, or 100 meters - a truly water-resistant timepiece. Its sporty character means it's ready to take the plunge with you. From puddles to the pool, it handles swimming without breaking a sweat. Shower, bath, and sport swimming? No problem. That said, our Ocarat watchmaking experts want you to know this model, while water resistant, is not designed for diving (recreational or professional) and should not be used near high-pressure cleaning equipment. We also recommend keeping the crown and pushers dry during immersion.
