Seiko 5 introduces its new GMT watch in a sleek black version. This timepiece features a round grey stainless steel case with a brushed and polished finish. The 42.5 mm diameter case measures 13.6 mm thick. A rotating stainless steel bezel with black PVD coating sits atop the case, marked with white Arabic numeral hour markers. Your jewelry will be protected by a Hardlex crystal with a magnifying lens over the date window. The screw-down caseback is transparent, ensuring water resistance of 10 ATM. A grooved, screw-down crown is positioned at 4 o'clock, giving you full access to your watch's functions.
The dial features a striking black finish to elevate your timepiece. On this sunray black background, you'll find 8 round white indices, 2 rectangular indices, and 1 triangular index at 12 o'clock. All indices are luminescent, equipped with Lumibrite technology. A railway track dedicated to the GMT function runs along the dial's edge, with a red arrow hand at the center indicating the second time zone. Hours, minutes, and seconds are displayed via grey and white hour, minute, and seconds hands, also coated with Lumibrite. A date window at 3 o'clock completes the dial.
Your Seiko watch is powered by an automatic 4R34 caliber movement, driven by 24 jewels delivering 21,600 vph. This 3-hand GMT movement with date offers a power reserve of 41 hours.
A five-link jubilee-style bracelet in stainless steel accompanies your case, featuring a brushed and polished finish. The lug width is 22 mm. A secure push-button deployant clasp keeps your timepiece safely on your wrist.
This watch is water resistant to 10 atmospheres, or 100 meters - a truly water-resistant timepiece. Its sporty character means it's ready to take the plunge with you. From puddles to the pool, it handles swimming without breaking a sweat. Shower, bath, and sport swimming? No problem. That said, our Ocarat watchmaking experts want you to know this model, while water resistant, is not designed for diving (recreational or professional) and should not be used near high-pressure cleaning equipment. We also recommend keeping the crown and pushers dry during immersion.
