The Watch

Casio is a Japanese brand known for durable, affordable timepieces. Easy to use and practical, they are suited to all kinds of situations. Among its simplest yet most capable models is the S-Series Pink Gold Metallic Dial Watch GMA-S2100MD-4AER, in a lovely shade of pink. Its octagonal case is made of carbon fiber-reinforced resin. It measures 42.90 mm in diameter, 11.20 mm thick and 46.20 mm from lug to lug, and weighs just 41 grams. A flat mineral crystal covers the dial, while two push buttons on either side let you adjust its functions. The case back is secured with screws, and the watch offers 20 ATM water resistance.

The Dial

This watch features a beautiful dial in metallic rose gold with a sunray finish. Its sloped chapter ring has a recessed minute track and baton hour markers. Small rectangles with a Neobrite coating accent the markers. A digital subdial between 3 and 6 o'clock displays the date, seconds and other functions, while a semicircular indicator at 9 o'clock shows the day of the week. The hour and minute hands have oversized rose-gold-colored counterweights. Their Neobrite coating also helps you read the time in the dark. An LED light makes the dial even easier to read. Finally, the brand name appears below 12 o'clock, with the water-resistance rating at 3 o'clock.

Button tones on/off

You can turn off the button tones using the mode button. Once disabled, the watch no longer beeps when you switch functions. Set alarms and countdown timers remain active.

Once set, the automatic calendar always displays the correct date.
