The Watch

Kuoe Kyoto is a young Japanese watchmaking brand born in Japan. Beyond their refined aesthetics, their timepieces stand out for their reliability and precision. It features a silver-toned round case crafted in 316L stainless steel with brushed and polished finishes. With a diameter of 35 mm, a length of 43 mm, and a thickness of 13 mm, these dimensions suit both men's and women's wrists. A domed sapphire crystal sits atop the case, treated with anti-reflective and anti-fingerprint coatings for improved legibility and enhanced resistance to shocks and scratches. At 2 and 3 o'clock, a pusher and a grooved crown allow you to set the hands, counters, and date window. This model comes with two interchangeable casebacks, both providing water resistance of 5 ATM. The first is screw-down, and the second is also screw-down but features a transparent sapphire crystal exhibition window revealing the inner workings of the movement.

The Dial

This dial enhances the watch with its beige color and vertically brushed finish. Round in shape, it is bordered by a minute track and gold Arabic numerals marking the hours. These are complemented by leaf hands at the center of the dial indicating the hours and minutes. The blue seconds hand tracks the seconds. Two subdials sit at 3 and 9 o'clock, displaying the month of the year and the day of the week. You'll find the brand name at 12 o'clock and a date window at 6 o'clock.

The Movement

This model is powered by a Japanese automatic movement - specifically the Miyota 9122 caliber, equipped with 26 jewels and beating at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour. It reliably drives all the indicators with precision while delivering a power reserve of 40 hours. This movement also features a stop-seconds mechanism.

The Strap

This watch comes with two beautiful straps - one crafted in silver-toned 316L stainless steel with brushed and polished finishes, and another in brown bovine leather. With these two straps, this timepiece pairs effortlessly with a wide range of outfits. Both feature a folding clasp and measure 18 mm in lug width, keeping the watch securely on your wrist at all times.

Water Resistance

With a water resistance of 50 meters, or 5 ATM, this timepiece can handle the occasional splash - but prolonged water exposure is not recommended. You can wear it in the shower from time to time without issue, but to preserve the quality and precision of the movement, our watch specialists strongly advise keeping it away from baths, pools, and the sea. In short: no swimming or diving, and no sustained contact with water.
