Kuoe Kyoto is a watch brand born in the historic heart of Kyoto, a Japanese city celebrated for its cultural heritage, craftsmanship, and elegance. Every watch is designed and produced using ancestral hand-polishing techniques and premium materials such as stainless steel, titanium, and urushi lacquer dials - a traditional Japanese art form. From its Royal Smith collection, this watchmaker presents a captivating timepiece with a standout design. It features a silver-toned case crafted in 316L stainless steel with polished and brushed finishes that elevate its aesthetics beautifully. Round in shape, it measures 35 mm in diameter, 43 mm in lug-to-lug length, and 13 mm in thickness - dimensions that suit mixed wrists perfectly. The case is topped with a domed sapphire crystal with an anti-fingerprint treatment, protecting the dial from scratches and everyday wear. Its anti-reflective coating further enhances legibility under bright lighting. The winding crown and knurled crown positioned at 2 and 3 o'clock allow you to set the hands, counters, and date. Finally, this timepiece features a steel case back adorned with a gold-toned Kuoe Kyoto medallion.

The Dial

This beige dial features a sandblasted finish that gives it a grainy texture. Its perimeter is lined with a minute track followed by gold-toned Arabic numerals. These are swept by two gold leaf hands and a blue seconds hand, displaying hours, minutes, and seconds. At 3 and 9 o'clock, you will find a month counter and a day-of-the-week subdial. The date window is positioned at 6 o'clock. Finally, the brand name appears at 12 o'clock as a signature.

The Movement

This model is powered by an automatic movement of Japanese origin. It features the Miyota 9122 caliber, bringing all the indicators to life. This mechanism is equipped with 26 jewels and offers a power reserve of 40 hours. It operates at an oscillation frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour and features a stop-seconds device.

The Strap

This watch is fitted with a 316L stainless steel bracelet in silver-toned finish. Measuring 18 mm in width at the lug, this flat link model features brushed and polished links toward the center. The bracelet fastens easily with a single deployment clasp and its length adjusts between 14 cm and 21 cm. A second brown strap in Italian calfskin leather with a brown pin buckle is included.

Water Resistance

With water resistance of 5 atmospheres, equivalent to 50 meters, this watch is a solid entry into the world of water resistance.
