Founded in 1919 in Germany, Bauhaus was originally a decorative and industrial arts institute. It now offers high-quality minimalist timepieces with a distinctive aesthetic. Here it presents one of its finest creations: the Regulator 2126-4 watch. It stands out for its understated elegance and refined, polished look. It comes with a round case whose minimalist design makes it an easy everyday companion. Crafted from stainless steel with a polished finish highlighted by its silver tone, the case measures 43 mm in diameter and 12 mm in thickness, topped by a domed sapphire crystal. This crystal perfectly protects the dial against scratches and damage that could mar its appearance. On the right side, a well-proportioned knurled crown handles the setting of hours, minutes, and date. The screwed-down case back offers a pleasant view of the movement through a transparent aperture while guaranteeing water resistance of 5 ATM.

The Dial

The dial of this watch strikes a perfect balance that gives it a timeless, understated beauty. Functional and elegant, it makes reading the time a pleasure. Its base is dark green with a matte finish that harmonizes beautifully with the white markers. The edge is finely detailed with a dotted minute railroad track and Arabic numerals every 5 minutes. The timekeeping elements are laid out separately, giving the dial its unique and distinctive character. The hours are displayed via Arabic numerals on a sub-dial at 12 o'clock, while the minutes are indicated by a long white baton hand at the center. A second sub-dial at 6 o'clock features a gold-toned hand displaying the small seconds. These functions are complemented by a date window at 3 o'clock with a white background and black Arabic numerals. The collection name is noted alongside it, while the brand signature appears on the opposite side. Finally, the "Made in Germany" label at 6 o'clock confirms the watch's origin.

The Movement

Powering this model is a Swiss automatic movement - specifically the Sellita SW266 caliber. With a 41-hour power reserve, it keeps the hand, sub-dials, and date window running flawlessly. This movement features 31 jewels and runs at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz), delivering reliable timekeeping.

The Strap

The strap on this watch is the elegant finishing touch that enhances its beauty and highlights its vintage style. It is crafted from stitched bovine leather in brown and measures 20 mm wide at the lug. It is comfortably secured around your wrist with a stainless steel pin buckle.

Water Resistance

This model offers water resistance of 5 atmospheres, or 50 m. Designed to turn heads and shine in any social setting, it still holds its own against everyday elements. You can wear it in the shower, though the Ocarat team recommends leaving it by the sink to preserve its brilliance and integrity over time. Swimming and diving are not recommended - you risk damaging it and facing repair costs.
