The Dial

Amplifying the retro look of this timepiece, this striking Bi-Compax dial evokes the dashboards of vintage racing cars with its iconic "Panda" design. It presents a silver surface with a horizontal brushed finish and a sunken pattern that highlights two black-background chronograph counters at 3 and 6 o'clock, displaying the 24-hour and 60-minute functions respectively. At the center, two grey baton hands sweep smoothly to mark the hours and minutes, each tipped with a SuperLuminova BGW9 lume for easy reading in low light. They are joined by a slender white seconds hand that also totals the chronograph seconds when the function is active. A black-background date window sits at 6 o'clock, displaying the date in white Arabic numerals. The outer rim features a minute track in 1/5th increments marked by black lines with Arabic numerals every 5 minutes, encircling applied baton hour markers. Like the hands, these markers feature white SuperLuminova BGW9 for optimal legibility in any light. Finally, the brand name appears below 12 o'clock with its logo as a signature, while the collection name sits at center alongside the Rallygraf logo - the two checkered flags.

The Movement

Inside the case beats a meca-quartz movement ensuring smooth, reliable performance across its hands, display window, and counters. Specifically, the hybrid caliber VK64 was selected to deliver accurate, dependable timekeeping in all conditions. Renowned for its quality and performance, it is crafted in Japan by the prestigious Seiko manufacture. Equipped with a stop-seconds function, it features a quartz module driving the time and date displays while its mechanical mechanism controls the chronograph function. It oscillates at 32,768 Hz and the battery offers a 3-year lifespan.

The Strap

The second strap is a "Rallye" style, reinforcing the sporty vintage character of this timepiece. Comfortable to wear, it is crafted from bovine leather with a grained finish in a rich black tone. Water Resistance

This model offers water resistance of 10 atmospheres, or 100 meters - making it a genuinely water-resistant watch. Ready to dive into aquatic adventures with you, it handles everything from puddles to the pool without complaint. Showering, bathing, and lap swimming are all no problem. That said, our Ocarat watchmaking experts want you to know that while this watch is water-resistant, it is not suited for diving (recreational or professional) and should be kept away from high-pressure cleaning equipment.
