Founded in 1996, Ralf Tech is a watchmaking company driven by one mission: building technically exceptional timepieces. Their models are engineered for deep-dive conditions that demand highly specialized equipment. The brand presents the Automatic Volcano WRB 1005 watch, proudly made in France. Housing a barrel-shaped case with a satin finish, it's built for water sports and outdoor adventures alike. The silver-toned case is crafted from 316L surgical steel with a diameter of 39 millimeters. It features a black fluted bezel in anodized aluminum engraved with the minute railroad track. It rotates unidirectionally with 120 clicks. A domed sapphire crystal 2.5 millimeters thick sits above the dial, shielding it from impacts and scratches. Highly resistant, it includes an anti-reflective treatment. At 4 o'clock, a screw-down crown handles hour and minute adjustments. The screw-down caseback of this Automatic Volcano is engraved with individual series numbering, and provides water resistance up to 20 ATM.
The matte volcanic red of this dial is a direct nod to the lava of an erupting volcano - hence the name Volcano. This intense hue gives the watch a warm, fiery character. At the center of the dial, you'll find two hands crafted in 316L steel with a 2N18 gold-plated finish. Their vintage SuperLuminova luminescent and gilt surface ensures visibility even in the darkest conditions. The hands indicate the hours and minutes respectively. A seconds hand completes the display. For easier time reading, a railroad minute track, indices, and four Arabic numerals are positioned around the dial. Just above 6 o'clock, the water resistance rating and movement type are printed. At 12 o'clock, the brand signs its timepiece - as most great watchmakers do.
An automatic RTA003 movement powers this watch. It drives the hands to deliver precise hours and minutes, with a power reserve of up to 44 hours.
This stunning strap in beige vintage hand-stitched calf leather is 22 millimeters wide. Supple and comfortable on the wrist, it features a quick-release interchangeable strap system, giving you the option to swap it for a second tropic strap in black silicone. It fastens with a tang buckle in silver, 20 millimeters wide.
With a water resistance of 20 atmospheres, equivalent to 200 meters, this model can confidently be called a dive watch. Our watchmaking experts agree: while this timepiece handles showers, baths, lap swimming, freediving, and recreational scuba with ease, it is not designed for extreme deep-sea diving, where pressure would ultimately compromise its seal. For professional divers looking to push depth limits, we recommend models rated 30 atmospheres and above. We also advise against operating the pushers or crown while underwater, to maintain a perfect water-resistant seal.
