Seiko is a storied Japanese watchmaking brand founded in 1881 by Kintaro Hattori. The round case measures 41 mm in diameter and 11.35 mm in thickness - a perfect fit for men's wrists. It is topped by a unidirectional rotating bezel in blue and red, featuring a minute scale and a round luminescent marker in a triangle at 12 o'clock. The case also houses a flat sapphire crystal protecting the dial against scratches and shocks. The screw-down crown at 3 o'clock allows for easy adjustment of the hands and date window. Finally, the screw-down caseback provides a water resistance of 20 ATM.

The Dial

This round dial is blue - a shade that evokes the beauty of the ocean depths. A minute track runs along its perimeter for precise time reading, flanked by indexes of various shapes marking the hours. These, along with the three hands that sweep over them, feature a Lumibrite coating for better legibility in dark conditions. The hands indicate the hours, minutes, and seconds. A date window at 3 o'clock displays the date day by day. The brand name is printed at 12 o'clock.

The Movement

This timepiece comes to life with a solar quartz movement of Japanese manufacture - specifically the Seiko caliber V157, which reliably drives the hours, minutes, and date. It beats at a frequency of 32,768 vibrations per hour and offers a power reserve of 10 months.

The Strap

This men's watch is paired with a brushed stainless steel bracelet. Its silver tone makes it easy to style with any everyday look. It features a push-button deployment clasp with a diving extension. The lug width of this bracelet is 20 mm.

Water Resistance

With a water resistance of 20 atmospheres, or 200 meters, this model earns the title of true "dive watch" without question. Watchmaking experts agree: it's more than up to the task for showering, bathing, lap swimming, freediving, and recreational scuba diving. However, it is not designed for extreme deep-sea diving, where extreme pressure would exceed its water resistance rating. For professional divers tackling serious depth challenges, we recommend models rated at 30 ATM and above. We also advise against operating the pushers or crown while submerged, to maintain a perfect seal.
