The Watch

A watch publisher since 2015, Laps creates original watches with wide-ranging inspirations. The Prima Nova collection unveils unique timepieces that reveal a part of your personality. This model proudly features an octagonal case crafted from 316L stainless steel. Discreet and elegant, it measures 36 mm long, 23 mm wide, and 7 mm thick. Its silver tone pairs perfectly with the matching dial. The dial features three hands and golden indices, protected from shocks and scratches by a solid hardened mineral crystal. To adjust the time, the watch features a traditional crown at 3 o'clock. Remember to remove your timepiece before jumping in the shower - this watch with a press-fit case back offers a water resistance of 3 atmospheres.

The Dial

With its octagonal shape, this original dial was developed with the Maison's local partners and assembled entirely in the Parisian workshop by skilled artisans. In silvery grey, it harmonizes beautifully with the other grey tones of the watch. Its sunray finish brings an exhilarating luminosity to your every wrist movement. The two golden hands for hours and minutes, along with the slender seconds hand, display the time marked by golden bar indices. In the same tone, the watchmaker's signature sits just below 12 o'clock.

The Movement

This watch is powered by a Quartz movement for quality analog timekeeping. Its Japanese Miyota caliber, known for its precision and robustness, drives the hours, minutes, and seconds hands.

The Strap

The strap of the Prima Nova silver is available in six different styles, selectable via a drop-down menu to personalize your experience. Materials include steel, leather, and perlon, each offering its own elegance and variety. The color options - silver, olive, beige, and black - let you choose a look in harmony with your personality. The strap width of 14.00 mm ensures optimal wrist comfort, while the available clasps - either a pin buckle or a clip buckle - provide secure fastening while enhancing the overall design of this exceptional piece.

Water Resistance

With a water resistance of 3 atmospheres, equivalent to 30 meters, this watch is not designed for aquatic environments. You can keep it on to wash your hands or for light household tasks involving a bit of water - but the Ocarat team strongly recommends leaving it on the nightstand before showering or bathing, and in the hotel safe before swimming or diving in a pool or the turquoise sea of your vacation destination.
