Seiko is a watchmaking manufacture founded in 1881 in Tokyo by Kintaro Hattori. Starting out in watch and clock sales and repair, the company eventually found its calling in crafting them. The Dial

This dial is thoughtfully crafted for a smooth, accurate time reading. It features a white genuine Arita porcelain background that creates a beautiful contrast on this timepiece. At its center, three blued hands deliver precise timekeeping in any situation. The two main hands, slightly tapered at the tips, display the hours with the short hand and the minutes with the long hand. The seconds are tracked by a slender sweep hand with a crescent-shaped counterweight. Together, they glide over baton-style hour markers that alternate with the minute track running along the edge. An additional sub-dial at 6 o'clock displays a 24-hour indicator via a dedicated hand sweeping over small Arabic numerals alongside blue lines. Further down, you'll notice details about the origin of manufacture and the caliber, while at the opposite end, beneath the double hour marker at 12 o'clock, the brand signs its name alongside the collection and movement type.

The Movement

At the heart of this watch beats an in-house automatic movement - specifically the caliber 6R5H, delivering a precision of +25/-15 seconds per day along with vibration resistance. This mechanism features 24 jewels and oscillates at a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour. It ensures reliable hand and counter performance and offers a power reserve of 72 hours.

The Bracelet

Water Resistance

This model offers a water resistance of 10 atmospheres, or 100 meters. Built to handle water, it's ready to dive into aquatic adventures right alongside you - from puddles to the pool. Showers, baths, and lap swimming are no match for this timepiece. That said, our Ocarat watchmaking experts want you to know that while this model is water-resistant, it is not designed for diving (professional or recreational) and should be kept away from high-pressure cleaning equipment. We also recommend avoiding crown and pushbutton operation while submerged.
