The Watch

This magnificent P-38-P76 Watch belongs to the PAC-76 collection, which showcases vintage men's models. It features a slim, compact asymmetric round case crafted from 316L stainless steel, finished in silver with a combination of polished and brushed surfaces for a sophisticated aesthetic. The case measures 38 mm in diameter, with a lug-to-lug length of 45.40 mm and a thickness of 11.80 mm - dimensions that sit perfectly on men's wrists. The case is topped by a domed K1 sapphire-treated mineral crystal for reliable daily dial protection. At 2, 3, and 4 o'clock, a crown and two pushers handle the adjustment of the hands, chronograph, and sub-dials. Finally, the screwed brushed caseback ensures water resistance to 10 ATM.

The Dial

This watch draws its inspiration from the era of military analog chronographs. Its black dial keeps all the indicators clearly visible. The perimeter is lined by a minute track followed by white and yellow Arabic numerals marking the hours. The round indices and the 6 and 12 numerals are coated with a Superluminova treatment, as are the two sword-shaped hands that sweep over them - delivering strong legibility in low-light conditions for a crisp read of the time. These two hands display the hours and minutes, while the slender silver seconds hand tracks the chronograph seconds. For a complete time reading, two sub-dials at 3 and 9 o'clock indicate the 24 hours and 60 minutes respectively. The brand signature at 12 o'clock completes the dial.

The Movement

This timepiece is powered by a Japanese-made mecaquartz movement - specifically the Seiko VK64 caliber - which ensures the precise operation of the hands and counters. This mechanism delivers a power reserve of 38 hours and operates at an oscillation frequency of 32,768 alternations per hour.

The Strap

Praesidus offers two strap options for this model. Both feature a 20 mm lug width and will give the watch a great look.

The first strap is crafted from polished 316L stainless steel. With its silver tone, it is composed of sturdy links expertly assembled for lasting durability. It closes easily thanks to its deployant clasp.

The second strap is made from black bovine leather. It brings a touch of elegance to women's wrists along with optimal comfort. This strap fastens with a silver pin buckle and features a lightly aged finish for a more refined appearance.

Water Resistance

This model offers a water resistance of 10 atmospheres, or 100 meters - and it means business. Ready to join you in any aquatic adventure, from puddles to the pool, this timepiece handles water without complaint. Showers, baths, and lap swimming are all fair game. That said, watchmaking experts note that while this model is water-resistant, it is not suited for diving (professional or recreational) and is sensitive to high-pressure cleaning equipment. We also recommend against operating the crown or pushers while submerged.
