The Watch
The Ocean Star collection is purpose-built for those who love the sea and the ocean. True to its long-established codes and inspiration, Mido drew on the architecture and beauty of the Europa Point Lighthouse in Gibraltar for this line. For marine athletes, these watches serve the same role as a lighthouse does for the boldest navigators: a reassuring, reliable, and precise reference point in any condition - built to last. The models sport a diver look with a unidirectional rotating bezel and solid water resistance (20 bars). They also share lightweight, durable materials and an excellent legibility system.
Built for exceptional durability, the watch features a 316L stainless steel case. Its dimensions are 42.5 mm in diameter by 11.70 mm thick, and the watch weighs a total of 187 grams. The crystal sitting over the case is sapphire glass - renowned in the watchmaking world for its scratch resistance - and features anti-reflective coating on both sides for optimal readability during underwater expeditions. The case back is secured with screws, while the crown is screwed down for enhanced water resistance. The unidirectional rotating bezel is black with white markers.

The Dial
The dial delivers the simplicity and precision you'd expect from a quality watch. Its deep classic black offers instant readability for athletes, featuring three silver-toned hands each partially treated with a phosphorescent material. The hour markers are baton-style with luminescent treatment, just like the hands. A minute track runs along the dial's perimeter in white for easy reading, while the date and day are displayed in a twin window at 3 o'clock.

The Movement
Inside this timepiece beats a Mido 80.621 Swiss automatic caliber. Based on an ETA C07.621 movement, this 25-jewel caliber delivers an 80-hour power reserve and an oscillation frequency of 21,600 A/h.

The Bracelet
This watch model comes fitted with a gray stainless steel bracelet - robust and substantial for a polished sporty look. Far more suited to aquatic activities than a leather strap, it fastens via a single deployant clasp with push buttons in a silver tone. It features a 22 mm lug width.

Water Resistance
This model offers a water resistance of 20 atmospheres, or 200 meters. Ladies and gentlemen, this is a watch built to take you deep into aquatic adventures. Designed for freediving, it handles high-pressure washers without breaking a sweat - no risk of water damage. Showering, bathing, lap swimming, and freediving are all fair game. However, for scuba diving with tanks, we recommend a timepiece with a higher water resistance rating. Also, avoid operating the crown or pushers while submerged to protect the movement's integrity.
