The Watch

Swiss watchmaker Mido, hailing from the Swiss Jura, unveils timepieces of exceptional quality born from genuine craftsmanship. Today, the brand proudly presents its chronograph model from the Ocean Star Chronograph collection. This gray and blue timepiece will win over men with a sporty, on-trend aesthetic. Its titanium case measures 44 mm in diameter with a thickness of 15.63 mm. A blue, graduated, unidirectional bezel sits on top, housing a brand-signed crown at three o'clock, flanked by two pushers for the chronograph function. A double-sided anti-reflective sapphire crystal protects the dial from everyday hazards. Finally, the screwed case back ensures water resistance to 200 meters.

The Dial

Round in shape and ocean blue in color, this blue dial houses three hands indicating hours, minutes, and seconds. The time markers are represented by geometric indices along with a minute track running along the dial's perimeter. For readability even in the ocean's depths, both indices and hands are coated with a luminescent material. For added precision, a date window sits at the six o'clock position. Additionally, two sub-dials are located at three and nine o'clock, displaying 30 minutes and 60 seconds. Finally, the brand signs its creation beneath the twelve o'clock marker.

The Movement

A Swiss automatic movement beats at the heart of this timepiece. Mido equips it with Caliber 60 - developed in-house based on the renowned ETA A05.H31. This self-winding mechanism delivers a 60-hour power reserve.

The Strap

For a look that's effortlessly simple, sporty, and refined, a gray titanium strap flanks each side of the case. Easy to handle thanks to its single folding clasp, it's flexible, comfortable, and durable - with a lug width of 22 millimeters.

Water Resistance

With water resistance of 20 atmospheres - equivalent to 200 meters - this model more than earns the title of "dive watch." Our watchmaking experts agree: while this timepiece handles showers, baths, lap swimming, free diving, and recreational scuba diving with ease, it is not designed for extreme deep-sea diving where pressure would compromise its seal. For professional divers pushing depth limits, we recommend models rated 30 atmospheres or more. We also advise against operating the pushers or crown while in the water, to maintain a perfect seal at all times.
