The Watch

Beuchat is a French watchmaking brand founded in 1904 in Marseille by Constant Beuchat, a passionate devotee of underwater life. The round case is meticulously crafted from stainless steel with a polished/brushed finish, balancing style, comfort, and durability. It measures 42.50 mm in diameter with a thickness of 13 mm - ideal proportions for any wrist size. The case is topped with a mineral crystal surrounded by a dive bezel. The bezel is unidirectional, featuring a black insert with notched edges and minute graduations with a luminescent marker at 12 o'clock. A notched, protected, screw-down crown is positioned at 3 o'clock for setting the hours, minutes, and date. On the caseback, a screw-down case back ensures water resistance of 20 ATM.

The Dial

This round dial with a double-circle finish delivers a clean, effortless time-reading experience while lending an air of refinement to your wrist. The dial face features a matte look with striated lines along the edges. Three hands sweep the dial: an arrow-tipped grey hour hand, a red arrow-shaped minute hand, and a slender seconds hand in grey with a distinctive red diamond-shaped tip and an elongated point. The hours are marked by twelve grey indices in varied geometric shapes, giving the watch a dynamic character. Both the hands and indices feature white luminescent treatment for clear readability in low-light conditions. A minute railroad track with white markers runs along the inner bezel edge. At 3 o'clock, a date window with a white background and black Arabic numerals displays the date. Finally, the brand name and the "Ocea" collection name are displayed just below 12 o'clock as a signature, while the water resistance is noted at 6 o'clock.

That said, for scuba diving with tanks, we recommend a timepiece with a higher water resistance rating. Always avoid operating the crown or pushers while submerged to protect the movement's integrity.
