The Watch

Founded in 1983, Swiss brand Swatch revolutionized the watchmaking industry with its finely crafted models. Each collection delivers high-quality watches at accessible prices to meet the expectations of its customers. Today, it presents the Obsidian Ink SUST402 watch from the Swatch Essentials line - a perfect fit for both women's and men's wrists. Modern and timeless, it features a round case crafted in plastic, measuring 42 mm in diameter, 14 mm thick, and 50.10 mm in length. Substantial yet comfortable, it is covered by a domed crystal framed by a matte dark brown bezel featuring a white tachymeter scale. To the right, you'll find a green crown and two pushers in red and beige for adjusting the central functions. Finally, a water resistance of 3 ATM is ensured by the case back.

The Dial

Designed to keep you on time during your sports activities, this dial features a beige tone enhanced by brushed and sunray finishes. Crafted with great attention to detail, it displays two skeletonized hands at its center to show the hours and minutes - even in low-light conditions, thanks to their luminescent coating. They point to Arabic numeral and baton-style indices, accompanied by a red seconds hand for the chronograph. For added time precision, a date window sits at 3 o'clock and a minutes railroad track runs along the edge. The dial is further enhanced by three sub-dials. With a green background and each featuring a red hand, they display 1/10th of a second, small seconds, and 60-minute counters. Finally, Swatch signs its creation below 12 o'clock.

The Movement

Of Swiss origin, a quartz movement powers the central functions. Reliable and efficient, it is driven by a battery that ensures excellent autonomy.

The Strap

The brown silicone strap that comes with this model delivers all-day comfort. Perfectly complementing the watch's overall aesthetic, it features a smooth surface and is secured by a beige pin buckle.

Water Resistance

This watch offers a water resistance of 3 atmospheres, or 30 m. Built for style, not for the water - it shines at cocktail parties and social events, but aquatic environments are simply not its element.
