Watchmaking house Herbelin reimagines its iconic Newport collection with this dive watch combining chic aesthetics and sporting spirit. This 1768B15 model with a masculine edge features a round 316L stainless steel case with a 42 mm diameter and a 10.10 mm thickness - proportions that sit perfectly on a man's wrist. A winding crown sits traditionally at 3 o'clock, letting you adjust the time indicators displayed on the dial. The dial is protected by a sapphire crystal, renowned in the watch world for its outstanding resistance to everyday shocks and scratches. It is framed by a fixed bezel with screws reminiscent of a ship's helm, with the collection name stamped in capital letters along its lower edge. Watch enthusiasts will be captivated by the transparent case back, revealing the movement in action with every wrist motion. Finally, this timepiece features a screwed case back and a water resistance of 10 atmospheres.

The Dial

Dive into the depths with this round dial in a deep night blue. Its sunray and smoked finish is utterly captivating, beautifully highlighting the analog time display with your every movement. At its center, the hour and minute hands are accompanied by straight baton indices - all coated with a luminescent treatment for effortless reading in the dark. The seconds are displayed by a silver sweep hand circling the dial, while a precise minute track runs along its perimeter. The 3 o'clock index houses a double aperture showing the day and date. Finally, the maison's signature appears beneath the 12 o'clock index, and the movement type is noted above the 6 o'clock index with the inscription "Automatique".

The Movement

This timepiece is powered by a Swiss automatic movement. Herbelin has fitted this watch with a Sellita movement - specifically the caliber SW220-1 with an oscillation frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour - for long-term accuracy across hours, minutes, seconds, date, and day displays. It also delivers a 38-hour power reserve.

The Strap

A 316L steel bracelet perfectly complements this Newport case, alternating between polished and brushed finishes. It fastens with a steel deployant clasp and features a comfortable 21 mm lug width for everyday wear.

Water Resistance

With a water resistance of 100 meters - or 10 ATM - this bold timepiece is equally at home at a black-tie event and in the water. Feel free to wear it in the shower, the bath, or while swimming (even vigorously).
