The Watch

Designed for watch enthusiasts who value distinctive design, the Nereide Avventurina - 4521550 is an exceptional timepiece with a truly one-of-a-kind look. Its name is inspired by aventurine glass, which produces a dazzling array of shimmering reflections reminiscent of a starry night sky. The watch features a round case crafted in 316L stainless steel, harmoniously combining durability and aesthetic appeal in a polished silver tone achieved through a perfect interplay of brushed and polished finishes. With a 42 mm diameter and a 49 mm lug-to-lug length, it offers a comfortable, well-balanced fit on the wrist. The case features a unidirectional 120-click bezel marked with a minute scale and a triangle marker, fitted with a tungsten insert - a dense, grey metal renowned for its exceptional hardness and brilliant luster - adding a bold edge and refined robustness to this model. A flat sapphire crystal completes the case design while protecting the dial from scratches, with an anti-reflective coating ensuring outstanding legibility. On the right side, the grooved, protected crown allows easy adjustment of the hours, minutes, and date. Flip the watch over and you'll discover a laser-engraved underwater motif on the screw-down case back, which offers a water resistance of 20 ATM.

The Dial

The dial exudes captivating charm and makes for effortless timekeeping. Crafted in aventurine, it draws the eye with its mesmerizing beauty and blue hue that shimmers like a star-filled night sky. Accented with polished silver markers, it strikes a perfect balance between elegance and visual appeal. The perimeter is framed by a raised ring featuring a minute track and baton hour markers that appear to float above the blue base. These are filled with Super-LumiNova® BGW9, delivering excellent legibility even in low-light conditions. This luminous treatment also coats the baton hands for hours and minutes, as well as the bar-tipped seconds hand. The dial also features a handy date window at 3 o'clock with a white background and matching silver frame. Just below the double hour markers at 12, the Venezianico logo - a beautiful cross with rounded ends - is applied, accompanied by the brand name in white and the collection name inscribed at 6 o'clock.

The Movement

The brand selected the Swiss Sellita SW200-1 caliber to power this model. This reliable automatic movement operates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour and delivers a power reserve of 41 hours. It features 26 jewels and drives a three-hand display alongside a practical everyday date complication.

The Strap

This watch comes paired with a blue rubber strap made in Italy for maximum comfort. It seamlessly integrates with the case shape and features stunning finishing details for a truly striking aesthetic. Fitted with a pin buckle, it enhances the overall look of the watch while ensuring a comfortable, secure fit on your wrist.

Water Resistance

With a water resistance of 20 atmospheres - that's 200 meters - this watch is built to go deep with you. Engineered for freediving, it handles everything from your morning shower to open-water swims and breath-hold dives without breaking a sweat. High-pressure washers? No problem. That said, if you're diving with tanks, we'd recommend stepping up to a higher water resistance rating. One golden rule: never operate the crown or pushers while submerged, to keep the movement safe and sound.
