MeisterSinger was founded in 2001 and takes its name from a group of middle-class poets and singers from the 15th and 16th centuries. Deeply inspired by the earliest mechanical clocks of the Middle Ages - which featured just a single hand - the brand pursues simplicity and clarity in every creation. Renowned for its single-hand watches, MeisterSinger has built a distinctive identity around an intuitive approach to reading time. Among its most minimalist collections, we present the NES903 Neo model, which channels a 1960s aesthetic through a clean, refined design. Its stainless steel case stands out with its polished finishing, giving it a strikingly elegant appearance. At 36 mm in diameter, it strikes a balance that works equally well on men's and women's wrists. The round case measures 9.40 mm thick, including the sapphire crystal that shields the dial from scratches. Slightly domed, the crystal perfectly echoes the case's retro design. The crown, positioned at 3 o'clock, features a knurled finish with a beautifully polished look. Bearing the Fermata logo - the musical pause symbol - it offers an easy grip for winding and setting. The case back is solid and understated, with engravings around its edge. Secured by screws, it ensures a water resistance of 5 ATM.
The dial is thoughtfully laid out for effortless time reading. Its ivory base - pure, clean, and understated - accentuates the watch's neo-retro character. Timeless in design, it features black Arabic numerals complemented by fine black baton indexes, separated by segments representing 5 minutes each. The single hand sweeping across the dial adds a touch of modernism that's impossible to ignore. At 12 o'clock, the brand's logo - a fermata, the musical rest symbol - appears, followed by the name "MeisterSinger," while the collection name is printed at 6 o'clock.
This model is powered by a Swiss automatic movement - specifically the Sellita SW200 caliber, specially modified for MeisterSinger's single-hand watches. It delivers a power reserve of 38 hours, features 26 jewels, and beats at 28,800 (4Hz) vibrations per hour for precise, reliable timekeeping. Built to last, it drives an analog display with a single hand.
To reinforce the watch's vintage-classic character, the brand fitted it with a suede leather strap. In dark brown, it pairs beautifully with the dial and delivers exceptional wrist comfort. At 18 mm wide at the lug, it features an ardillon buckle stamped with the MeisterSinger logo - a timeless, understated piece with effortless charm.
This model offers a water resistance of 5 atmospheres, or 50 m. Striking and refined, it's built to shine on any occasion - and that elegance comes with real resilience. You can wear it in the shower, though the Ocarat team recommends leaving it on the edge of the sink to keep it looking its best over time. Swimming and scuba diving, however, are a no-go - the risk of damage and costly repairs simply isn't worth it.
