The Watch

Celebrating over 100 years of French watchmaking expertise, Lip has accompanied generations of enthusiasts with bold, sophisticated designs. Among the brand's greatest hits, the legendary Nautic-Ski stands tall. Here, it comes in a 41mm stainless steel case, 15mm thick - ideal for a vintage look on a men's wrist. This icon of French maritime style features two screwed crowns on the right side of the case at 2 and 4 o'clock. The crown at 2 o'clock adjusts the internal bidirectional rotating bezel, while the one at 4 o'clock sets the time and date. A highly scratch-resistant sapphire crystal protects the dial from daily bumps, dust, and shocks. The transparent screwed caseback lets you admire the movement, including the rotor engraved with "Besançon" and "France" - the brand's assembly city and the cradle of French watchmaking. Water resistance: 20 atmospheres.

The Dial
A stunning round dial in a mesmerizing shade of blue awaits. With its sunray finish, it reveals ever-changing depths as you move - a nod to the adventurous spirit that inspired Fred Lip, the watch's creator. Two silver baton hands at the center are equipped with luminescent technology for easy reading even in the dark, complemented by a slender seconds hand. The rectangular indices also feature luminescent treatment. A white minute track runs along the outer edge for precise timekeeping. A date window at 3 o'clock on a white background adds a refined finishing touch. The outer bezel displays a countdown scale - perfect for dives - and proudly sports the colors of the French flag. The brand signs its timepiece below the 12 o'clock index, with the collection name, movement type, and water resistance noted above the 6 o'clock index.

The Movement
A great watch deserves an exceptional movement. Inside, you'll find a 21-jewel Miyota 8215 automatic caliber oscillating at 21,600 vph with a solid 45-hour power reserve. Renowned for its smooth, reliable performance, it drives the hours, minutes, and seconds hands as well as the date window.

The Strap
The watch comes on a sleek black "Tropic" silicone strap with a perforated finish for all-day comfort. Purpose-built for diving and sport, it stands up to water and everyday wear with ease. It fastens with a signed silver pin buckle.

Water Resistance
This model offers water resistance of 20 atmospheres (200m). This is a watch built for serious aquatic adventures - including freediving! It can handle high-pressure washers on your wrist without breaking a sweat. Showering, bathing, swimming, and freediving are all fair game. That said, if you plan on scuba diving with tanks, we recommend a timepiece with a higher water resistance rating. Also, be sure not to operate the crown or pushers while submerged, to keep the movement protected.
