Japanese Maison Casio presents the Metal 2100 Watch GM-2100N-2AER, a bold new addition to the G-Shock lineup. Masculine, tough, and commanding, it features a blue stainless steel case reinforced with carbon fiber. At 49.3 mm long, 44.4 mm wide, and 11.8 mm thick, weighing just 72 grams, it's built for men's wrists. The fixed brushed steel bezel frames a round blue, vertically striated dial. Two central hands sweep across baton indices and a railway track minute ring. At 9 o'clock, the date appears in English abbreviations; at 5 o'clock, a digital display delivers a full suite of functions - including a 1/100s stopwatch, countdown timer, and daily alarms - all accessible via the pushers flanking the case. A solid mineral crystal shields the dial from everyday shocks and scratches. The screw-down caseback ensures optimal water resistance to 20 ATM.
With its round shape, the dial showcases a rich navy blue hue, elevated by a vertically striated finish. At center, the two blue hands for hours and minutes sweep across baton indices along the perimeter, with minutes precisely marked by the railway track. At 9 o'clock, a sub-dial uses English abbreviations to display the day of the week. In the lower portion of the dial, a digital display reveals the additional features your jewelry timepiece has to offer, detailed below. The Maison's signature sits just below 12 o'clock, and water resistance is noted at 3 o'clock.
Dual Illuminator:
When the electroluminescent backlight activates, both the digital and analog sections of the dial are illuminated.
World Time Function:
The world time function displays the current time across 29 time zones and major cities around the globe.
1/100s Stopwatch - 24 Hours:
Measures elapsed time with 1/100th-of-a-second precision for up to 24 hours. An audible signal confirms the start and stop of the stopwatch.
Countdown Timers - 1/1 sec - 24 Hours:
For those who love precision, the countdown timers alert you to important or recurring events with an audible signal at the set date and time. Time can be programmed in seconds, up to 24 hours in advance.
5 Daily Alarms:
The daily alarm function triggers every day at the time you set. The value shown indicates the number of available daily alarms.
Hand Shift Function:
This function moves the hands out of the way when they obstruct the visibility of the time, date, or stopwatch display.
12/24-Hour Time Format:
You can display the time in either 12-hour or 24-hour format.
Button Beep On/Off:
The button beep can be turned off using the mode button. Once disabled, no sound plays when switching between functions. Any programmed alarms or countdowns remain active even after the button beep is turned off.
Neobrite Coating:
The hands and/or indices are coated with a fluorescent material that continues to glow in the dark after exposure to a light source.
Auto Calendar: Once set, the auto calendar always displays the correct date.
The analog-digital display comes to life thanks to a Japanese Quartz movement housed at the heart of the case. An autonomous battery lasting 3 years powers the hour and minute hands, the day counter, and all additional functions.
A resin strap delivers comfort and durability in equal measure. Its blue color matches the rest of the watch perfectly. Water resistant and ready for anything - from daily wear to sporting and nautical adventures. The pin buckle lets you dial in the perfect fit with a single, effortless motion.
With water resistance to 200 meters, or 20 ATM in proper watchmaking parlance, this watch is built for shallow-water diving. It handles showers, baths, pool and ocean swimming, and recreational freediving without breaking a sweat. For professional scuba diving, our Ocarat watchmaking team has hand-picked 30 ATM models for you - available in our catalog with a quick search on the site. One last word of advice: keep those pushers and crown dry while you're in the water.
