Bringing meticulous care and attention to every stage of watchmaking - from design to finishing - the iconic German brand Junghans never ceases to impress with refined and elegant timepieces that are truly in tune with the times. Blending clean design, bold aesthetics, and flawless performance, every Junghans watch honors both the heritage and the future of watchmaking. The brand now unveils its new Meister Chronoscope 27/4224 watch. Timeless and elegant, it will elevate your look and deliver one of the most memorable watchmaking experiences you can have. Combining a classic silhouette with sporty functionality, it makes a genuine style statement and will carry you with distinction on every occasion. Its round case is crafted from stainless steel and finished with a polished surface for a subtle brilliance day and night. Designed to adorn men's wrists, it measures 40.70 mm in diameter and 13.90 mm in thickness. Fitted with anti-reflective coating on both sides, a domed sapphire crystal sits over the dial, protecting it from shocks and scratches while offering superior legibility from every angle. To set the hands and the two apertures, and to operate the chronograph, a crown and two pushers are positioned on the case and placed entirely at your disposal. The watch resists water pressure up to 5 ATM thanks to its screwed caseback. Featuring a mineral glass porthole, it also lets you admire the fascinating inner workings of the movement at any time.
A round dial sits elegantly within the case, reinforcing the dynamic and sporty character of this watch with a touch of distinguished restraint. Balanced and bold in design, it features a brushed finish and is dressed in a refined blue hue contrasted by anthracite subdials. Each animated by an orange hand, they are positioned at 3, 6, and 12 o'clock. Two of them totalize 12 hours and 30 minutes of the chronograph, while the third handles the small seconds function. At the center of the dial, two dauphine hands with an environmentally friendly luminescent coating sweep smoothly to indicate hours and minutes even in low-light conditions. The slim grey hand tracks the chronograph seconds. The perimeter, signed "Made in Germany", features a minute track and twelve baton hour markers. Additionally, two apertures with black backgrounds are positioned at 3 o'clock - the first displaying the date and the second showing the day of the week, in either English or German. Finally, the brand places its name, its eight-pointed star, and the "Chronoscope" inscription at 3 o'clock.
Based on the ETA 7750, it is the in-house caliber J880.1 that powers this watch, keeping it running flawlessly in any situation. This automatic movement oscillates at a frequency of 4 Hz, or 28,800 beats per hour, is fitted with 25 jewels, and delivers outstanding performance and unwavering reliability. It drives the hands, apertures, and subdials with fluid precision, providing accurate and exact display of hours, minutes, seconds, date, day, and chronograph functions. Its power reserve ensures up to 46 hours of autonomy.
An ostrich leather strap wraps around both sides of the case, lending a distinguished vintage flair to this timepiece. Accented with tone-on-tone stitching, it is dressed in a rich brown hue that contrasts beautifully with the blue of the dial and the grey of the case. Supple and comfortable, it will embrace your wrist with delicacy and refinement for all-day wear. Whether paired with a sporty outfit or a chic look, it will elevate your style from morning to night. Its stainless steel pin buckle allows you to fasten and remove it with ease, without any risk of losing it.
With a water resistance rating of 5 atmospheres, equivalent to 50 meters, this watch is your first step into the world of water resistance. While not designed for bathing, competitive swimming, or scuba diving, it can easily handle a forgotten shower. That said, our experts recommend keeping this timepiece dry to preserve its mechanism for years to come.
