The Médaille d'Amour jewelry pieces by Augis are iconic and steeped in history. Conceived by Alphonse Augis and first crafted in Lyon in 1907, it was the founder's grandson who had the wonderful idea of celebrating love, inspired by a magnificent poem written in 1889 by Rosemonde Rostand for her husband Edmond.

In it, she declares her feelings and the unconditional love she holds for him with these words: "For, you see, each day I love you more, today more than yesterday and far less than tomorrow."

Augis jewelry is today crafted in Saumur using yellow, white, or rose 750/1000 Gold (18 karat). To our delight, the collection now spans medals, bracelets, and rings.
