Mechanical TX27 Pocket Watch

The Watch

Founded in 1867, Bayard is a French watchmaking brand known for its diverse and distinctively designed collections. Among its creations, we're proud to present the Mechanical TX27 pocket watch, featuring an elegant round case. Crafted from brass with a refined brushed finish in dark gray, it measures 47 mm in diameter and 13 mm in thickness. It houses an acrylic crystal and features a smooth flip-open cover. The grooved crown at 3 o'clock enables manual adjustment of the hours and minutes, and is encircled by a ring for attaching the watch to a chain.

The Dial

This model features an elegant round dial with a vintage aesthetic and a beautiful skeleton finish. It has a white base highlighted by a black minute railroad track. The hours are marked by Roman numeral indices, also in black, except at the 6 o'clock position where the brand name appears. The open center reveals the movement and houses two Pomme hands for hours and minutes, along with a slender black seconds hand.

The Movement

This watch is powered by a highly reliable mechanical movement featuring 17 jewels. It delivers a 36-hour power reserve and oscillates at 21,600 vibrations/hour, ensuring accurate and dependable analog timekeeping.

The Chain

This pocket watch is easy to carry thanks to its elegant matching chain, which can be attached to the ring at 3 o'clock.

Water Resistance

Not water-resistant, this watch is not designed for wet environments. A quick hand wash or light household chores are fine, but the Ocarat team strongly recommends removing it before showering, bathing, or any water activity - leave it on the nightstand or safely stowed before heading to the pool or the sea.
