The Watch

Bayard is a French watchmaking brand that has excelled in the field since 1867. Celebrated for its wall clocks, alarm clocks, and pocket watches, the brand presents the Mechanical TX86. This elegant retro-style watch features a round case crafted in brass with a bright silver finish, measuring 45 mm in diameter and 14.30 mm thick, fitted with a mineral crystal. At 12 o'clock, a ridged crown handles the adjustment of hours and minutes, surrounded by a matching silver oval ring through which you can attach the watch to its chain.

The Dial

This watch showcases an elegant white matte dial with a round shape and a refined design. It features a striking central skeleton opening through which you can admire the movement's gears. The edges of this opening display a very fine minute track. A second minute track runs along the outer edge for easier time reading. Hours are marked by Arabic numeral indexes in black - except at 6 o'clock, where the brand name takes their place. Two Breguet-style hands and a slim seconds hand, all in black, point to the indicators. Finally, the movement type is noted on a white ring on the lower center of the dial.

The Movement

The analog display of this timepiece is driven by a high-performance mechanical movement featuring 17 jewels and a 36-hour power reserve. Its beat frequency is 21,600 alternations/hour.

The Chain

This watch is easy to wear thanks to its matching silver-toned Curb Chain. It attaches quickly to the ring at 12 o'clock via a carabiner clasp.

Water Resistance

Not water-resistant - this watch is not built for aquatic environments. You can keep it on while washing your hands or doing light household tasks involving a bit of water, but the Ocarat team strongly recommends leaving it on the nightstand before you shower or bathe, and in the hotel safe before you head to the pool or the turquoise sea on your vacation.
