The Watch

Founded in 1861 by Erhard Junghans, the Junghans brand pursues a distinctly minimalist aesthetic in this Max Bill collection. Round with a 38 mm diameter, this timepiece presents the Max Bill 41/4461.04 model. Inside the stainless steel case, the fixed bezel frames a stunning dial protected by a sapphire crystal. At 3 o'clock, a crown serves as a winding crown for setting the time. The case back is screwed.

The Dial

Round and white, the dial features three hands in silver-tone for hours, minutes, and seconds respectively. The hour and minute hands are sword-shaped, while the seconds hand is baton-shaped. The hour and minute hands, along with the markers at 3, 6, 9, and 12 o'clock, feature a luminous coating for easy reading at night. A date window at 3 o'clock adds everyday functionality. A minute track around the dial edge enhances legibility. Junghans signs the model just below the 12 o'clock index.
