The Watch

The sixtieth anniversary of the Max Bill collection by Junghans inspired the Maison to create a special edition set for the occasion. The Max Bill Edition 60 Regulator 27/3190.02 completes this trio. It features a round case with a 38 mm diameter and 10.5 mm thickness, making it equally suited for men's and women's wrists. Crafted in steel - prized for its corrosion-resistant and hypoallergenic properties - with an anthracite PVD finish, it promises lasting comfort. At the heart of your jewelry timepiece, the white dial offers a uniquely original analog time display. The central orange hand tracks the minutes across baton indexes and a subtle gray minute track. The hours are shown on a sub-dial graduated in Arabic numerals below 12 o'clock, while the small seconds occupy the counter at 6 o'clock. The dial's curved surface is covered by a robust domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment on both sides. At the 3 o'clock position, the crown lets you set the various hands with ease. Finally, the caseback is secured by 4 screws for optimal water resistance of 3 ATM, and its transparent finish is engraved with the limited edition logo.

The Dial

Both refined and distinctive, the dial at the heart of your wrist delivers a luminous analog time display. Its white background makes the orange and dark gray time indicators pop. The central orange hand tracks the minutes across baton indexes and a minute track around the dial's perimeter. The 12 o'clock marker features Arabic numerals - the "60" marking the minutes pays tribute to the anniversary of the Max Bill watches. A small orange hand sits at the center of the sub-dial in the upper portion of the dial, indicating the hours via Arabic numeral indexes. The luminescent treatment on both main hands and the 12 o'clock index uses an environmentally responsible luminous compound. Finally, the sub-dial in the lower portion of the dial displays the small seconds. Across the center of the dial, the Maison's signature is applied horizontally, with the German origin of manufacture noted on either side of the 6 o'clock index.

The Movement

This jewelry timepiece comes to life through an automatic mechanical movement, animating the hour, minute, and small seconds hands. Its caliber J800.5, manufactured in-house by Junghans, delivers reliability and autonomy with a 38-hour power reserve.

The Strap

To add a touch of elegance to your timepiece, it comes fitted with a leather strap in light gray. Its black-tipped edges give it a refined look, while the orange leather lining adds a contemporary twist. The material and 20 mm lug width ensure everyday comfort. A pin buckle in steel and anthracite gray PVD lets you adjust the strap to fit your wrist perfectly.

Water Resistance

At 30 meters water resistance, or 3 atmospheres in watchmaking terms, this watch is anything but a water lover. Moisture is the enemy of its delicate movement, and our team strongly advises keeping it dry. Rain or doing the dishes? Fine. Shower, bath, pool, or ocean? Absolutely not - this one prefers to stay high and dry.
