The Watch

Timex is one of the world's leading watch brands, celebrated above all for the reliability and quality of its timepieces. Its Marlin collection delivers refined functionality with understated design - equally at home at special occasions and casual everyday wear. The TW2V62000 model presented here brings a fresh retro-modern aesthetic, built around a cushion-shaped case in stainless steel with a nod to the 1960s. The case measures 39 mm in diameter and 9 mm thick, combining vertical brushed surfaces with polished lines. It is fitted with a domed acrylic crystal on the front and a signed "Marlin" crown on the right side at 3 o'clock, which handles hours, minutes, and date setting. The caseback is secured by four screws and features a small transparent aperture to showcase the movement. Water-resistant to 5 ATM, it is engraved with a detailed depiction of the iconic Marlin fish.

The Dial

This watch features a round dial with a clean, refined look, showcasing a slightly brushed silver background. Its minimalist details add a sophisticated, modern-yet-retro feel to the overall design. The perimeter displays a minute track with graduations surrounding Arabic numeral indices for easy timekeeping. These are pointed by luminescent blue sword hands and a matching blue seconds hand. A white-background date window sits at 3 o'clock, while on the opposite side, a guilloche sub-dial handles the 24-hour function, fitted with a contrasting red hand that adds character and highlights the elegant design. Finally, the name "Marlin" appears above 6 o'clock, while the brand name is displayed below 12 o'clock, followed by the movement type.

The Movement

At the heart of this model beats an automatic movement - a Japanese-made mechanism supplied by Miyota, equipped with 21 jewels. It ensures smooth, reliable motion of the hands, date window, and sub-dial for precise timekeeping throughout the day.

The Strap

This watch is fitted with a quick-release bovine leather strap enhanced with beige stitching and finished in a rich brown color. It measures 20 mm wide at the lug and features a stainless steel pin buckle for easy and flexible adjustment. This strap fits wrist circumferences between 150 and 205 mm.

Water Resistance

This watch offers a water resistance of 5 atmospheres, or 50 m. It's designed to be as beautiful as it is resilient - ready to turn heads without sacrificing toughness. You can wear it in the shower, though the Ocarat team recommends setting it aside on the edge of the sink to preserve its finish and integrity over time. Swimming and scuba diving are not recommended, as exposure to those conditions may cause damage requiring costly repairs.
