The Watch

Today, Laco presents the Kiel.2 Schawrez Chronographs 862148 - a timeless model inspired by classic pilot watches. Its clean, finely detailed lines bring a modern elegance to the masculine wrist every day. Weighing 105 g, it features a round stainless steel case with a brushed finish for a refined, sophisticated look. The case measures 51.50 mm in length and 43 mm in width with a 14 mm thickness - proportions designed for all-day comfort. A double-domed sapphire crystal sits over the dial, protecting it from daily shocks and dust, with an anti-reflective treatment on the inside for exceptional legibility. On the right side of the case, a crown at 3 o'clock lets you set the central hands and date/day display, and works in tandem with two pushers at 2 and 4 o'clock to operate the three counters. Finally, the screwed transparent case back ensures 10 ATM water resistance while giving you a front-row view of the movement within.

The Dial

With its round shape, this stunning dial works in perfect harmony with the strap and case to create an elegant yet modern statement piece. Its matte black finish gives the watch a sleek, captivating presence. Two blued steel hands sweep fluidly to display the hours and minutes, joined by a slender blue seconds hand. The hours are marked by a triangular index at twelve and Arabic numeral indexes elsewhere, while a minute track runs around the perimeter. The indexes, hands, and track are all treated with Superluminova C3 luminescent coating for reliable legibility even in the dark. A dual window displays the date and day of the week in German. Three chronograph counters complete the dial: a 12-hour counter at 6 o'clock, a 60-minute counter at 9 o'clock, and a 30-second counter at 12 o'clock. The brand signs its creation above the date window with its name and the mention "Made in Germany" at 6 o'clock.

The Movement

This watch beats to the rhythm of a German-engineered automatic movement - specifically the Laco 500 caliber, built on the Sellita SW500. With a power reserve of 56 hours, it drives the hands, date/day display, and chronograph counters with fluid precision.

The Strap

A calfskin leather strap dresses the watch with a vintage, elegant character. Its deep black tone is energized by white contrast stitching and rivets on both sides, adding a modern, edgy touch to the overall look. It wraps the wrist with finesse, complementing any outfit with refined ease. Secured by a tang buckle, it's quick to put on and take off. With a 22 mm lug width, it fits wrist sizes ranging from 165 to 215 mm.

Water Resistance

This model offers water resistance of 10 atmospheres, or 100 meters. This is a truly water-resistant watch! Ready to take the plunge, it handles everything from puddles to the pool without missing a beat. Showers, baths, and lap swimming? No problem.
