The Watch

From the Khaki Field collection, inspired by American military heritage, this H64455523 watch offers a battle-ready style for everyday life. It features a case measuring 40mm in diameter and 12mm thick. Bold and masculine, it's made for sporty gentlemen who appreciate military-inspired timepieces. The watch is fitted with a highly resistant sapphire crystal to protect the dial from damage. The caseback is screw-down for enhanced water resistance, and also features a transparent exhibition back so you can admire the movement's ballet and its oscillating rotor. The crown - your control for setting the hands - is positioned at 3 o'clock, and also allows you to set the date and day displayed at 12 o'clock on the dial.

The Dial

Round in shape and featuring a beautifully beige vintage-inspired dial perfectly suited to the military aesthetic, this dial delivers a range of highly useful functions while remaining as legible as possible - true to its tactical inspiration. For a modern horological touch, it's dressed with an elegant sunray finish and double-ring detail. Three silver-tone hands indicate hours, minutes, and seconds, all featuring luminescent material - including the seconds hand, which carries it on its tip. Hour markers are rendered as Arabic numerals around the dial's perimeter. In true army-watch fashion, military time is displayed in small black Arabic numerals at the center of the dial. A black railway minute track runs around the perimeter for enhanced readability against the light background. Luminescent markers appear every 5 seconds on the inner bezel ring. Finally, note the presence of two windows positioned at 12 o'clock: the first, in a half-moon shape, displays the day; the second shows the date. The brand name is also printed at 12 o'clock, just below the windows.

The Movement

Automatic, the movement inside the case is Hamilton's in-house H-40 caliber. Swiss-made, it is based on an ETA movement - specifically, the caliber 2834-2. Hamilton's proprietary modifications push its power reserve to 80 hours. It beats at a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour and features a total of 25 jewels, reliably delivering hours, minutes, seconds, date, and day functions.

The Strap

In a rich dark brown tone, the strap is crafted from sturdy leather in keeping with its military inspiration. It features contrasting beige stitching that echoes the color of the dial. It carries the reference H6007041041 and is made from cowhide leather. It has a pin buckle closure in silver-tone and an 20mm lug width.

Water Resistance

This model offers a water resistance of 5 atmospheres, or 50 m. It is designed to be as beautiful as it is robust, holding its own in everyday situations. That said, while you can wear it in the shower, the Ocarat team recommends leaving it gently on the edge of the sink to preserve its shine and integrity over time. Swimming and scuba diving are strongly discouraged - exposure to water at depth could damage the watch and result in costly repairs.
