Victorinox is a Swiss brand originally known for its knives. Since 1989, it has been crafting watches designed to strike the perfect balance between timeless elegance and performance. Its I.N.O.X. collection delivers elegant yet robust timepieces packed with functions for everyday wear. The I.N.O.X Chrono Quartz 241985 presented here is built from tough 316L stainless steel. It features a barrel-shaped case with a brushed finish that enhances its elegant profile. Designed to grace men's wrists with distinction, it measures 43 mm in diameter and houses a hexagonal bezel. The bezel harmonizes perfectly with the case, featuring a tachymeter scale on the round ring and military hours on the polished angled facets. The movement is protected by a sapphire crystal that shields it from scratches and impacts. Adjustments are made via a grooved crown at 3 o'clock and two pushers at 2 and 4 o'clock. The screwed transparent caseback ensures water resistance up to 20 ATM.
The dial of this watch is designed for effortless at-a-glance readability. Sporting a blue background with a sandblasted finish that adds depth and character, it features gray markers enhanced with a luminescent coating for visibility in low-light conditions. A precise railroad minute track runs along the outer edge, surrounding a set of baton indexes for the hours. These are tracked by two central baton hands and a slender seconds hand with a red tip. A date window sits at 6 o'clock, while a day window appears opposite between two sub-dials. The chronograph function is served by three sub-dials: small seconds at 3 o'clock, 1/10th of a second at 6 o'clock, and 30 minutes at 9 o'clock. As a final signature touch, the brand replaces the 12 o'clock index with its logo, with the brand name just below.
This model is powered by a Swiss-made quartz movement - specifically the Ronda 5040.E caliber, featuring 13 jewels and running on a 395 battery with an estimated 5-year lifespan. Highly reliable, this movement drives the central hands with precision.
This watch sits on a link-construction stainless steel bracelet that's tool-free interchangeable thanks to its quick-release system. It measures 21 mm wide at the lug and features a butterfly deployant clasp with a safety lock for a secure fit.
This model offers water resistance up to 20 atmospheres (200 meters) - making it a true companion for deep-water aquatic activities. Designed for freediving, it can also handle high-pressure washers without a second thought. Showering, bathing, lap swimming, and freediving are all fair game. That said, for scuba diving with tanks, we recommend a timepiece with a higher water resistance rating. Be sure not to operate the crown or pushers while submerged, to keep the movement sealed and protected.
