Hindenburg Chronograph Solar 8086-2 Watch

The Watch

Zeppelin, the renowned watchmaking brand celebrated for its craftsmanship, has spent decades producing watches designed and manufactured in Germany. Today, it introduces the Hindenburg Chronograph 8086-2 watch for men in a deep red colorway. Built around a stainless steel case, this sophisticated red watch features a crown at 3 o'clock for setting the time and date. At 2 and 4 o'clock, two silver pushers operate the chronograph. The case is also fitted with a flat K1 mineral crystal, and its case back provides water resistance of 5 atmospheres.

The Dial

The deep red dial with its black bezel makes it immediately eye-catching. A dotted silver railroad track runs along the outer edge to indicate the minutes. At the center of the dial, cathedral hands display the hours and minutes, marked by indices and Arabic numerals. A gray seconds hand sweeps to track the seconds. The dial also features 3 sub-dials displaying 24 hours, 30 minutes, and 60 seconds, positioned at 3, 9, and 6 o'clock respectively. A power reserve indicator is also present on the dial. The date window is located between 4 and 5 o'clock. Zeppelin signs this timepiece with its name and logo at 12 o'clock, and bears the "Made in Germany" inscription at 6 o'clock.

The Movement

This watch is powered by an Epson VR42 quartz solar movement, renowned for its durability - it runs on light converted into energy.

The Strap

This beautiful red leather strap fastens with a silver-tone pin buckle, making it easy to adjust to your exact wrist size. White contrast stitching runs along the edges for an extra touch of refinement.

Water Resistance

With water resistance up to 50 meters - or 5 ATM in standard watchmaking terms - this timepiece handles everyday splashes without issue. You can wear it in the shower on occasion, but to preserve the precision and quality of the movement, our watch specialists strongly recommend keeping it away from H2O - whether bath, pool, or sea. Bottom line: no swimming, no diving, and no prolonged water contact or submersion.
