The story of Lebois & Co began 90 years ago, in 1934. From the start, founder Raymond Dodane set out to build a workshop that would revolutionize modern watchmaking. That relentless drive for excellence became the cornerstone of a brand that today stands as a true reference in the industry. Blending design and elegance, its craftsmen bring to life remarkable, functional timepieces whose features make everyday life easier. Crafted from noble materials, these watches wear beautifully on both men's and women's wrists. From the Heritage Chronograph collection, the 324.478 watch will elevate any look with effortless elegance. It features a round case meticulously crafted in 316L stainless steel. Renowned for its corrosion resistance, this material ensures exceptional durability, keeping the watch looking as pristine as the first day for years to come. Finished in gray with a brushed surface and finely polished edges for an added touch of lightness, the case measures 39 mm in diameter, 10.50 mm in thickness, and 47.40 mm lug-to-lug. A domed sapphire crystal 3.40 mm thick sits above the dial, shielding it from shocks and scratches. Its anti-reflective coating on the inner surface ensures clear legibility even in bright light. All core functions are adjusted via the ridged crown for a secure grip, and the two push-buttons strategically positioned at 2 and 4 o'clock. Beneath this exceptional piece, a screwed caseback features a sapphire crystal that, thanks to its transparency, reveals the intricate oscillation of the movement. The caseback also provides a water resistance of 5 ATM.
This timepiece features a strikingly elegant dial. Its salmon color is enhanced by a circular brushed finish that gives it a refined, eye-catching look. The outer ring features a tachymeter scale for measuring the speed of a moving object, followed by a telemeter scale for calculating distances in kilometers, and a minute track for precise timekeeping. Set against a sandblasted finish, the center of the dial displays leaf-shaped hands in blue indicating hours, minutes, and chronograph seconds. Additional functions include a small seconds counter at 9 o'clock and a 30-minute chronograph counter at 3 o'clock. Baton indices and Arabic numerals complete the dial for enhanced time legibility. The brand name appears at 12 o'clock, while the country of manufacture is displayed at 6 o'clock.
The manual-winding mechanical movement powering this timepiece is in-house made by LeBois & Co itself. This is the LC-450 caliber, whose 24 jewels elegantly reduce friction for enhanced precision. Beating at 28,800 (4 Hz) vibrations per hour, it delivers a generous power reserve of 60 hours while remaining anti-magnetic. Reliable and robust, it drives all the core functions of this timepiece.
With a shower-like texture that feels soft against the wrist, the strap of this timepiece is crafted from genuine suede leather. Sporting a rich brown tone enhanced by a suede finish, it features a lug width of 20 mm. The perfect everyday companion, this strap fastens with a silver-tone pin buckle measuring 18 mm.
This watch offers a water resistance of 5 atmospheres, or 50 m. Its precious character in no way compromises its ability to handle the elements. You can wear it in the shower, though the Ocarat team recommends leaving it on the edge of the sink to preserve its brilliance and integrity over time. Swimming and scuba diving are strongly discouraged, as exposure could damage the watch and lead to repair costs.
