Passionate about watchmaking for four generations, Humbert-Droz continues to push forward with timepieces that blend aesthetics and advanced technical expertise. Paying tribute to iconic landmarks, the brand presents the HD8 Mont-Blanc - assembled in France and available as a limited edition. This elegant watch, crafted to adorn men's wrists, features a round case in 316L stainless steel measuring 41 mm in diameter and 10.60 mm thick. At 3 o'clock, a fluted, signed crown handles the setting of hours, minutes, and date. The dial is protected by a sapphire crystal for exceptional scratch and shock resistance. For added wearing comfort, the lugs are arched to perfectly follow the contours of the wrist. The screwed caseback, signed by Humbert-Droz, is numbered and ensures water resistance to 5 ATM. It also features a transparent aperture showcasing the movement within.
The cool tone of the dial brings a distinctive edge to your style. It features a white base highlighted by blue hour markers for a clean, pleasing visual. A smooth bezel frames a center enhanced by a clou de Paris guilloché finish. A minute railway track runs along the perimeter. It surrounds a combination of baton markers for odd hours and Arabic numeral markers for even hours, all pointed to by two rhodium-plated dauphine hands coated with a subtle layer of Luminova for beautiful luminosity in the dark. They are joined by a fine seconds hand - the short hand for hours, the long one for minutes, and the slender one for seconds. A date window sits at 3 o'clock, while the "Humbert Droz" signature with the brand's discreet "hands at 10:10" logo appears at 12 o'clock. An inscription noting the movement and power reserve is placed just above 6 o'clock.
This timepiece is powered by the G100 caliber developed by Swiss manufacture La Joux-Perret. This automatic movement delivers a power reserve of 68 hours and beats at 28,800 A/h (4 Hz). The model can also be wound manually or automatically via the natural motion of the wrist.
This HD8 features a PVD-treated stainless steel bracelet composed of 5 rows of links with a 20 mm width. Classic in style yet highly elegant, it enhances the watch's appeal with alternating brushed and polished finishes. A deployant clasp allows for easy, personalized adjustment.
This model offers water resistance of 5 atmospheres, or 50 m. It's built to be beautiful and turn heads - but that doesn't mean it can't hold its own against the elements. You can keep it on in the shower, though the Ocarat team recommends setting it aside on the edge of the sink to preserve its brilliance and integrity longer. For swimming and diving, we strongly advise against it - the repair costs simply aren't worth the risk.
