The Watch

French brand Humbert Droz tells the story of four generations of watchmaking enthusiasts. Through its collections, it crafts quality timepieces assembled in France. The brand's new HD8 collection is a Franco-Swiss wedding ring that gave rise to this Fuji watch. Available in limited edition, it exudes a vintage appeal that is sure to turn heads. It features a round case in rose gold-colored stainless steel measuring 41 mm in diameter and 10.60 mm thick - a perfect fit for men's wrists. A highly resistant domed sapphire crystal sits atop the dial, shielding it from external impacts. You can set the hours, minutes, and date using the notched, signed crown at 3 o'clock. The screwed, transparent caseback lets you admire the movement's inner workings while ensuring water resistance of 5 ATM.

The Dial

This graphic-patterned dial features a sunray finish on a grey base accented by rose gold time markers for easy readability. The perimeter is lined with a minute track encircling Arabic numerals and golden baton indices marking the hours - a deliberate distinction designed to help you read the time at a glance. These markers are swept by two rhodium-plated Dauphine hands coated with a subtle layer of Luminova, allowing you to read the time even in low-light environments. The long hand tracks the minutes, while the short hand displays the hours. The seconds hand sweeps continuously to show the seconds. A white-background date window sits at 3 o'clock for added precision. At 6 o'clock, you'll find the inscription "Assembled in France", and Humbert-Droz signs its creation just below the 12 o'clock index.

The Movement

This HD8 Fuji is powered by an automatic Swiss G100 NAC-finish movement manufactured by La Joux-Perret. Beating at 28,800 vibrations/hour (4Hz) and delivering an exceptional power reserve of 68 hours, it precisely drives the analog display and date functions.

"The Strap"

This stunning brown leather strap lends a refined finishing touch to the watch. It enhances its vintage character and pairs effortlessly with a wide range of outfits. Detailed with contrast stitching and a small French flag that adds to its charming aesthetic, it fastens securely with a rose gold deployant clasp. The lug width is 20 mm.

Water Resistance

With a water resistance of 5 atmospheres, equivalent to 50 meters, this watch is a great entry point into the world of water-resistant timepieces. While it's not designed for swimming laps or scuba diving, you can safely forget to take it off in the shower. That said, our team recommends keeping it dry whenever possible to protect the movement and ensure it lasts for years to come.
