The Watch

Humbert-Droz is a French watchmaking company founded in 1956, crafting timeless timepieces that pass from generation to generation like a family legacy. Discover the HD REA-Chrono series through the "Hedwige" model. A limited edition of just 350 pieces, this watch features a cushion-shaped case with a 48 mm diameter and 14 mm thickness, crafted in brushed 316L stainless steel with a black PVD coating - perfectly suited for aquatic activities. It is fitted with a mineral crystal and a fluted rotating bezel with graduation markings for elapsed time. The knurled, screw-down crown and pushers on the right side are concealed beneath a crown protector that opens upward, providing shock resistance during sports. Slightly curved lugs ensure an excellent wrist fit. The screw-down caseback is engraved with model information and delivers water resistance up to 10 ATM.

The Dial

The dial of this HD REA-Chrono is designed for effortless legibility. Set against a brushed silver background, it features a finely graduated minute track around the perimeter and silver baton indices. Two black rhodium-plated steel diver-style hands are joined by a slim red seconds hand for a more refined look - the short hand marks the hours, the long hand the minutes, and the slender hand the seconds. For added functionality, a large date window at 12 o'clock and 3 subdials complete the dial. The subdial at 3 o'clock displays small seconds, the one at the center indicates 1/10th of a second, and the one at 9 o'clock tracks 30 minutes. The brand signature appears just below the large date window.

The Movement

This timepiece is powered by a Ronda quartz movement 5040.B, a Swiss-made caliber that delivers reliable analog display. It precisely drives the various counters and the large date window.

The Strap

This watch comes fitted with a striking black silicone strap featuring a distinctive pattern. It measures 24 mm at the lug width and fastens with a pin buckle.

Water Resistance

This model offers water resistance up to 10 atmospheres, or 100 meters - it's genuinely built for the water. From puddles to the pool, this timepiece handles splashes, showers, baths, and lap swimming without missing a beat. That said, Ocarat's watchmaking experts want you to know that while this model is water-resistant, it is not designed for diving (professional or recreational) and should be kept away from high-pressure cleaning equipment. We also recommend keeping the crown and pushers dry during immersion.
