The Watch

The historic Vulcain brand has been celebrated for over a century for its original movements and its many vintage-inspired designs. One of the world's leading manufacturers of alarm watches - whose alarms can be heard underwater - Vulcain champions Swiss watchmaking by crafting timepieces that seamlessly unite aesthetics and technology. From the Grand Prix collection, paying tribute to the brand's victory at the 1929 International Exhibition in Barcelona, comes this stunning watch designed to grace men's wrists with effortless elegance. It features a silver-toned case with brushed and polished finishes that catch the light brilliantly. Crafted from 316L stainless steel, it is topped by a double-dome sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating to protect the dial from everyday scratches and impacts. The case measures 39 mm in diameter, 46 mm in length, and 12.70 mm in thickness. A fluted crown at 3 o'clock provides easy access to time setting at any moment. The screwed caseback, engraved with the brand name, ensures water resistance of 5 ATM.

The Dial

Round in shape, this dial displays a silver-toned finish enhanced by semi-bright and sunray decorations that bring light and depth to the model. With a dial opening of 33.50 mm, its perimeter features a minute track paired with baton indices doubled at 3, 6, 9, and 12 o'clock for added elegance. These markers make time reading effortless and are swept by three hands mounted at the center of the dial, indicating hours, minutes, and seconds. True to tradition, Vulcain places its name at 12 o'clock as its signature.

The Movement

This men's watch is powered by an automatic movement of Swiss origin - specifically the Landeron L24 caliber - delivering reliable timekeeping with a power reserve of 40 hours. It runs at a frequency of 28,800 vph and is equipped with 25 jewels.

The Strap

This timepiece comes with a choice of 5 different straps, each with its own character. All feature a lug width of 20 mm and a buckle width of 16 mm. Crafted from calfskin leather with matching tone-on-tone stitching, they fasten to your wrist via a pin buckle in silver-toned 316L stainless steel.

The first three strap options come in black, brown, and gray. Their smooth leather surface offers a soft feel and pairs effortlessly with the watch's overall aesthetic and your accessories. Refined and modern, they make a striking statement on the wrist.

The last two strap options come in brown and black, featuring an alligator-pattern surface. With their unapologetically vintage style, they'll complement your wrist perfectly and pair beautifully with any outfit.

Water Resistance

With water resistance of 5 atmospheres - equivalent to 50 meters - this watch offers an entry-level water resistance that will handle everyday splashes. While it's not designed for swimming or diving, you can safely wear it in the shower. That said, our experts recommend keeping it dry whenever possible to preserve its movement for years to come.
