The Watch

Drawing inspiration from the original G-Shock, the DW-5000C, it features an octagonal case measuring 49.80 mm in length, 44.40 mm in diameter, and 12.80 mm thick, weighing 165 g. Crafted from stainless steel and engineered to be shock- and vibration-resistant thanks to its resin cushioning components, it sits on the wrist with a refined presence and all-day comfort. Polished and brushed finishes accentuate its clean design for a timeless result. The 3D octagonal bezel features a circular brushed surface engraved with "G-Shock" and "Protection", along with the functions of the four pushers on the case band - letting you set the time and navigate functions at any moment. A mineral crystal covers the dial, while a screw-back case on the reverse ensures water resistance to 20 bar.

The Dial

This elegant round dial in black features a two-layer construction for a truly distinctive look. It showcases intricate injection molding made using Yamagata Casio's cutting-edge technology. Easy to read, it delivers sharp, precise timekeeping in any situation. At the center, two baton hands with pointed tips move smoothly to indicate hours and minutes, coated with a Neobrite layer for excellent readability in both bright and dark environments. The dial bezel is PVD-tinted and enhanced with a polished finish for a striking visual effect. A minute track lined with small Neobrite rectangles enhances night visibility, surrounding twelve three-dimensional indices for quick hour recognition. Beyond the analog display, the dial integrates an LCD screen between 3 and 6 o'clock, providing digital readout of the time, calendar, and additional functions including world time and stopwatch. A sub-dial at 9 o'clock indicates the current watch mode and battery charge level. Finally, the brand name and "G-Shock" collection name are displayed just below 12 o'clock as a signature.

This watch is powered by a Japanese-made solar movement that keeps it running reliably in any condition. A full charge provides a battery autonomy of 7 months.

Crafted from stainless steel, it follows the contours of your wrist with refined sophistication, ensuring all-day comfort. Its "Y" links are elevated by polished and brushed finishes that highlight its beautiful silver tone. The bracelet features a triple deployment clasp for easy, secure wear. It fits wrist sizes from 150 to 205 mm.

Water Resistance

This model offers water resistance to 20 atmospheres, or 200 meters. A watch truly built for deep-water adventures - designed for freediving! High-pressure water jets are no problem either. Showers, baths, vigorous swimming, and freediving are all fair game. For scuba diving with tanks, however, we recommend a timepiece with a higher water resistance rating. Also remember: never operate the crown or pushers while submerged, to protect the movement's integrity.
