The Dial

Built with a two-layer construction and featuring a delicate injection molding process made possible by Yamagata Casio's advanced technology, the dial offers an analog-digital display for clear, easy-to-read timekeeping in any condition. The two pointed baton hands at the center feature Neobrite treatment, keeping hours and minutes visible even in the dark. They point to the twelve gray indices and the minute track arranged on the inner ring. This ring is finished with a PVD treatment and a polished finish, enhancing its visual appeal. It is marked by small rectangles also treated with Neobrite for optimal legibility. A sub-dial at 9 o'clock indicates the current watch mode and battery charge level. Between 3 and 6 o'clock, an LCD screen provides a digital display, showing the time, calendar information, and additional features such as the alarm, stopwatch, and world time. Finally, the brand name and the collection name "G-Shock" are printed below 12 o'clock, serving as a signature.

Water Resistance

With a water resistance rating of 20 atmospheres, equivalent to 200 meters, this model is what watchmakers confidently call a "dive watch." Our horological experts agree: while this timepiece handles showers, baths, lap swimming, free diving, and recreational scuba with ease, it is not designed for extreme deep-sea diving where pressure would eventually overwhelm its seals.
