The Watch
Casio's G-Shock lineup is built for those who push limits - and this GA-2100SU-1AER is no exception. Its carbon fiber-reinforced resin case delivers extreme durability and unmatched toughness. The case measures 50 mm in diameter by 11.8 mm thick, with a length of 48.5 mm and a width of 45.4 mm. An octagonal bezel with military-inspired detailing frames the dial, giving the watch its signature rugged, adventure-ready look. The dial is shielded from impacts and scratches by a mineral crystal. Four pushers positioned on either side of the case give you quick access to all the watch's features. Finally, a screw-down caseback provides water resistance down to 200 meters.
The Dial
The round dial makes a bold statement with its black background. At the center, two bold hands indicate the hours and minutes, coated with a luminescent treatment for easy reading in low-light and underwater conditions. Oversized indices mark the hours around the dial perimeter, complemented by a minute track. A sub-dial at nine o'clock displays the day using its first letters in English. A dual digital window at the southeast position shows the time in 24-hour format, along with the alarm mode or countdown timer. The dial features the Dual Illuminator, lighting it up with electroluminescent backlighting. The collection name and brand are displayed at twelve o'clock in orange and white lettering.
Features:
Dual Illuminator: When the electroluminescent backlight activates, both the digital and analog sections of the dial are fully illuminated.
World Time Function: The world time function displays the current time across 29 time zones and major cities around the globe.
1/100-Second Stopwatch - 24 Hours: Measures elapsed time to 1/100th of a second accuracy over a maximum duration of 24 hours. An audible signal confirms both the start and stop of the stopwatch.
Countdown Timers - 1-Second Intervals - 24 Hours: For those who demand precision: countdown timers alert you to important or recurring events with an audible signal at your preset date and time. Timers can be set in seconds, up to 24 hours in advance.
Daily Alarm: The daily alarm triggers every day at the time you set. The displayed value indicates the number of daily alarms available.
Hand Shift Function: This function moves the hands out of the way when they obstruct the time, date, or stopwatch display.
12/24-Hour Time Format: Switch between 12-hour and 24-hour time display to suit your preference.
Auto Calendar: Once set, the auto calendar always displays the correct date.
Button Beep On/Off: The button beep can be turned off using the mode button. Once disabled, no sound will play when switching between functions. Any set alarms or countdowns, however, remain active after the button beep is turned off.
The Movement
Like its predecessors in the G-Shock family, this watch runs on a Japanese quartz movement - trusted for its reliability and precision, it keeps all time displays and functions running flawlessly.
The Strap
The strap perfectly complements the rest of the watch. Made from resin - a material prized for its durability, flexibility, and resilience - it wraps comfortably around your wrist without restricting your movement. In black, it flows naturally from the case. A pin buckle lets you adjust the fit with ease.
Water Resistance
This model is water resistant to 20 ATM - that's 200 meters. Whether you're free-diving, swimming laps, or working with high-pressure washers, this watch can take it. Showering, bathing, sport swimming, and breath-hold diving are all no problem. For scuba diving with tanks, however, we recommend a timepiece with a higher water resistance rating. Also, avoid operating the crown or pushers while submerged to protect the movement's integrity.
