Weighing 94 g, it measures 40 mm in diameter with a thickness of 11.80 mm - thoughtfully sized to sit comfortably on any wrist. The dial is shielded from everyday scratches and shocks by a convex sapphire crystal equipped with an anti-reflective coating, ensuring a perfect read from every angle. A crown with a 2-O-Ring gasket at 3 o'clock lets you easily set the time and date at any moment. On the caseback, a engraved caseback provides water resistance to 5 ATM and features a transparent window through which you can admire the movement's intricate mechanics.

The Dial

Where simplicity meets timeless elegance, a round dial in black sits gracefully within the case, ensuring crisp and effortless time reading. Its sunray-finished surface is adorned with grey hour markers that lend a dynamic energy to the overall look. Two slender, elongated hands sweep fluidly across the dial alongside a fine seconds hand, together indicating hours, minutes, and seconds. The outer edge features a classic minute track for a refined finishing touch. The hours are marked by applied, faceted diamond-edge indices, with a gap between 5 and 7 o'clock to accommodate a sub-dial. This sub-dial features a grey hand pointing to graduations from 1 to 31 around its edge to display the date. The brand's name is placed below 12 o'clock - a hallmark of authenticity.

The Movement

The in-house FC-706 caliber breathes life into this beautiful timepiece, ensuring the smooth, reliable motion of its hands and display. This automatic movement, developed in Switzerland at the Frédérique Constant workshops, delivers exceptional performance, quality, and precision in every situation. Equipped with 26 jewels, it beats at 28,800 vibrations per hour - that's 4 Hz. Hours, minutes, seconds, and date are all displayed with remarkable accuracy. This movement gives the watch a 72-hour power reserve.

The Strap

With a lug width of 20 mm, a Mississippiensis alligator leather strap wraps around either side of the case, lending the watch a clean, vintage character. Its black color highlights the square-patterned texture and is finished with tone-on-tone stitching. Supple, comfortable, and sturdy, it gently hugs the contours of your wrist for all-day wearing comfort. The strap measures 115 mm on the long end and 75 mm on the short end. It pairs effortlessly with both casual and formal looks, fastened securely with a deployment clasp measuring 18 mm in width, crafted in 316L stainless steel.

Water Resistance

This model offers water resistance to 5 atmospheres, or 50 m. It's designed to turn heads and shine in any setting - and that elegance doesn't come at the expense of durability. You can wear it in the shower, though the Ocarat team recommends setting it on the edge of the sink to preserve its brilliance and integrity over time. As for swimming and scuba diving, we strongly advise against it to avoid damage and costly repairs.
