The Watch
With its polished 316L stainless steel case, the Equus Régulateur from independent French watchmaker Pequignet strikes the perfect balance between tradition and innovation. Measuring 41mm in diameter and 11.5mm thick, it features an anti-reflective sapphire crystal. True to the maison's storied equestrian heritage - a tribute to founder Emile Pequignet's passion for horses - the caseback is press-fit with Clou de Paris relief finishing and a fleur-de-lis logo. The crown is positioned at 3 o'clock. A bold design statement that will delight any lover of classic watchmaking with a genuinely original edge.
The Dial
Deep black and effortlessly refined, the Equus dial is all about understated elegance. A 24h sub-dial displays the hours, while a white minute track runs along the dial's perimeter, complemented by matching Arabic numerals. "Automatic" appears at 12 o'clock, "Fabriqué en France" at 6 o'clock, and the maison's name at 3 o'clock - accompanied by its iconic fleur-de-lis.
The Strap
This timepiece is paired with a black calfskin leather strap with black stitching.
The Movement
Developed in partnership with Seiko, this Régulateur model is powered by the automatic SII NH37 caliber. It delivers hours on a 24h sub-dial at 10 o'clock, minutes via the central seconds hand, and a date window at 6 o'clock.
Water Resistance
This model is water-resistant up to 50 meters (5 ATM). It can handle splashes and showers but is not suitable for swimming or diving.
