The Watch

ELKA Watch Co. watches are the expression of founder Hakim El Kadiri's passion and creativity. Today, the brand is proud to unveil this magnificent X01w-0901 model - a reissue of the past from the vintage Dutch brand Elka Watch. Its round case is crafted in 316L stainless steel with brushed and polished finishes for added distinction. Sized to sit perfectly on men's wrists in comfort, it measures 40.80 mm in diameter, 10.80 mm thick and 46.50 mm lug-to-lug. A true everyday companion for men. The dial is protected by a chevé sapphire crystal with scratch-resistant and single-side anti-reflective treatment for optimal legibility. The knurled crown at 3 o'clock provides a firm grip when adjusting the watch's functions. Finally, the screw-down case back ensures water resistance to 3 ATM.

The Dial

Fall for this gorgeous dial with its clean, minimalist look. It features a black background that contrasts beautifully with its colorful indicators. Printed Arabic numerals treated with Superluminova™ "Old Tritium" lume define its originality. They serve as minute markers and punctuate the minute track running around the perimeter. Featuring fine graduations, it is marked with triangles for greater hour precision. The hour and minute hands are leaf-shaped, crafted in brushed nickel and filled with beige Superluminova for excellent legibility in low-light conditions. A beige seconds hand completes the display. Finally, the brand name appears at 12 o'clock, with the movement label at the bottom of the dial.

The Movement

This beautiful watch is powered by an automatic movement that delivers accurate, reliable analog display of hours, minutes, and seconds. It runs on the La Joux Perret G100 caliber, oscillating at a frequency of 28,800 alt/hour with a 68-hour power reserve. It also features a stop-seconds system that makes setting the time effortless.

The Strap

ELKA Watch Co. has fitted this timepiece with a beige NATO strap that wins you over with its ribbed texture and classic style. It pairs perfectly with the watch's tones and your outfits, and its 18 mm pin buckle makes fastening it a breeze. The lug width is 20 mm.

Water Resistance

With a water resistance rating of 3 atmospheres - equivalent to 30 meters - this watch is not built for aquatic use. You can keep it on while washing your hands or doing light household chores, but the Ocarat team strongly recommends leaving it on the nightstand before your shower or bath, and in the hotel safe before heading to the pool or the turquoise sea on your vacation.
